Idea for the Extended Game

So here is another idea that my gaming group wishes PAIZO would create:
Expansion Decks

One thing our table top game master has been working on is our own, custom campaign using the PACG and some of the characters we completed adventure paths with. One thing we would love to see are expansion decks that offer something like the following:

Adventure Gear Expansion:
• Additional gear: weapons, items, armor (> level 6)

Scroll Case Expansion:
• Additional spells (> level 6)

Adventure Pals Expansion:
• Additional allies and cohorts (> level 6)

The ability to create a custom campaign with all available PACG cards is a huge plus to extending the life of the product beyond just playing the base sets. Having a product that’s professionally designed and balanced for adventures beyond level 6 would be something I believe would sell very well.

What do you guys think?

Being able to use my conquering heroes in a >6 adventure is something I've been waiting to do since I finished Rotr. I would be in for sure.

Scarab Sages

Check the Homebrew section, I think someone's working on a Tier 7 adventure... (will post link later if I can find it)

Why would you want those cards in separate products instead of an AD7?

Well, I'm a professional game designer, and I wrote Shield of Rannick, a full adventure path with 30 all new scenarios for your Rise of the Runelords game. I also wrote Mhar of Leng, a five-scenario "Adventure 7" for Rise of the Runelords. Both are absolutely free at welbybumpus.com, and I suppose that sells very well! :-)

I'm working on a new adventure path for the Skull and Shackles set called Bloodlust Corsairs. I haven't yet decided whether my project after that will be an adventure path for the Wrath of the Righteous set, or a large cross-over requiring all three base sets. Probably the latter, I think.

That's awesome material and thank you; I will definitely check it out.

Could you here provide the links to your

Drivethru cards which are available for your pdfs.

Great....

Seriously, everyone should play Shield of Rannick. It's a huge improvement to the difficulty and challenge of the original Runelords. And there's some neat new mechanics that I'm fairly certain have been borrowed from Rannick in Organized Play and even Wrath. :)

Quite honestly I'd rather see adventure expansions than equipment and spell expansions.

Just personally I'd rather not have the desire to buy buy buy Ally,Item,Spell,Armor,Weapon and blessing expansions individually. I'm not hurting for money but it's quite a lot to justify.

I'm looking myself at buying the materials for the organized play to play at home with and it seems like a good deal for all the hours of content.

Also I'm unsure how much truly new content they can squeeze out of the source material, but I have been surprised before. The planar tuning fork, dreamstone and emerald codex are truly unique items that do something interesting. I wonder how many more tricks are left up the sleeve though.

Sure! You'll need one High Priest Y'Ganok villain available here.

You'll need one Bhole Jaws villain available here.

You'll need players + 1 (that is, up to seven) Titanic Bulk henchmen available here.

You'll need players + 2 (that is, up to eight) Denizen of Leng henchmen available here.

Please give it a try and let me know what you think!

I played Rannick with ThreeEyedSloth and wholeheartedly concur. Shield of Rannick ROCKS.

I can't wait for Corsairs, Ron!

Mhar of Leng could be AD7 for either RotR or Rannik, RIGHT?

So, it is a generic AD7 connected to RotR card base...

Well done Ron!

I played a play-test version of Mhar of Leng a while back. Definitely worth a look, but I really wish there were some Adv 7 weapons and spells to go with it - I was really struggling with a lot of the combat checks.
