Whip proficiency / focus sources

Advice

Is there a class/archetype other than Kensai that would allow a first level character to get Whip Proficiency and Weapon Focus (Whip) at first level without having to use their starting feat.

I feel like there ought be a fighter archetype that gives Whip proficiency, and then the fighter bonus feat for focus would do it - but I can't seem to find one.

Calistrian Warpriest or Cleric get it as Favored Weapon, Warpriest also gets free weapon focus at lvl 1

Edit: this has the side effect of making your whip a d6 weapon if you go Warpriest ;)

There are a couple of different options. Whip is the favored weapon of a few deities, so you can use that to get it on a warpriest or a few deity focused archetypes of other classes, such as the Slayer(Deliverer). Also, half-orcs have a racial option for whip proficiency.

Thanks. I've never really looked at Warpriest (am waiting for a second printing before I buy ACG) but that might work.

Kensai gets both proficiency and Weapon Focus in the whip for free at level 1.

Half-elves with Ancestral Arms (as well as half-orcs with City Raised) can get whip proficiency.

Mysterious Avenger gets whip proficiency as well.

There's a half-orc alternate racial feature that can give you whip proficiency.
