Negative channeling cleric or something else?

does anyone other than a cleric get the option to channel negative for purposes of damaging enemies? Not talking about prestige classes. I was thinking about making a 20 cha cleric with selective channel and command undead to play in pfs. The idea is at 3rd get channel ray and start shooting rays across the battlefield. Any suggestions?

Not quite what you asked, but:

I had an idea for a cleric of Pharasma who focused on channeling. Start with either positive or negative, take Versatile Channeller to use the other, then go into Envoy of Balance to duel channel.

Only the cleric gets channel negative.

Have a look at an item called a malleable symbol (I think that's the right name) if you're interested in playing a negative channeler. Also, of course, the phylactery of negative channeling. It'll be a while till you can afford them but both are useful in their own way.

Negative channeling can be especially problematic in PFS, mostly because of how many familiars and animal companions can show up. If you get seated with a Hunter, a Witch and a Cavalier all of a sudden 20 cha isn't enough to exclude everyone, even at a 4 player table. It only gets worse if there are more than 4 players.

Oddly it seems like you can get positive channeling on a wizard by taking versatile channel, but there is no way to get your wizard to channel negative to damage.

A bones oracle can channel negative for the purposes or controlling undead. Seems like an anti-paladin could channel like his good counterpart at the expense of lay of hands, will need to check that.

Btw, channel ray is a bad feat to take for one who seems to deal damage. Channeling is only worth it as a "blasting" method if it can hit a mob of folks. For example if channeling got you 100% max damage on a single target that's good but getting two baddies that both save for half damage does the same amount. If either of those two damaged fail their save OR you get more than 2 baddies in the area you will do more damage than channel ray, guaranteed.
