I recently came up with a very silly PFS character concept using the Iron Brush. However, I've hit a snag. The weapon weighs nothing (it's weight is listed as '"-" in ultimate equipment.) What happens if I want to make it Mithral? It isn't counted as ammunition, so I can't use ammo rules. And the rules for Mithral say that Mithral items cost 500 gp per pound of original item weight. (Apologies for not liking the rules, I'm not on a mobile device, currently.). I know that in a homegame it could just be handwaved away and say that it costs 500 gp, but given how by-the-book some PFS GMs are, I wanted to see if there was an official word on the matter. Or am I not allowed to have a 'Mithral Brush?'

There is a FAQ that mentions items with a weight of - are counted as half a pound. Go to town with it.
EDIT: Starglim found it before me...LINK

Costed as half a pound
Wait, so a Mithral weapon is ALWAYS masterwork and is included in the cost of the weapon. 1 lb of the stuff is 500gp when made into a weapon, so 1/2 lb is 250. So a Mwk iron brush is 302, and a Mwk Mithral iron brush is 252 gp? I mean, I'm fine with that, but it doesn't seem legit.

Or it does 2d6 sng if you are a warpriest of sufficient level!

Mithral is always available, so you can do this after your first adventure.
All basic armor, gear, items, and weapons from Chapter 6 of the Core Rulebook, including Small and Large-sized items. This does not include equipment made from dragonhide, but it does include equipment made from the other special materials, such as alchemical silver and cold iron (see the Special Materials section on page 154 of the Core Rulebook).
The only exclusion that requires fame is dragonhide.

I only mentioned 5th level because that's when small warpriests deal 2d6 damage with their favored weapon.
It just isn't that big of an exploit, honestly.

Now for my next problem, I need to find a mini for a human male scrivner/scribe/scholar type. Preferably no weapons, a book, and a pen. I've looked through the reapermini line and there are a few ideas, but nothing jumps out.
I need a mini like Chi-Fu from Disney's Mulan (http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Chi-Fu) a wormy little guy with a ledger/clipboard and a pen.
