I know that weapons cannot possess the same special ability more than once, but what about armors? You would think you can't as well but I can't find the rule about it anywhere. Basically I want to get the "Brawling" armor special ability multiple times, and I want to know if there's a rule against that.
Places I looked for that rule:

You probably can't, but I can't find the rule.

The only benefit I would see for doing so would be abilities with limited uses per day.
Take Adhesive, for example. You can use it for 10 rounds per day. So, if you could put two Adhesive properties on the same armor (probably with different command words), you could gain the benefits for 20 rounds per day.
You would not gain any benefit from using them both at the same time, as BBT mentioned, since the bonuses would not stack.
It would be the same as if you had the ability on both a suit of armor and a shield.
Still, I don't think it intended that you can add the same ability to a single piece of armor more than once.

I can think of another benefitting example: Imagine two fortifying stones on the same suit of armor. One would be inert since abilities effects from the same (type of) source won't stack. But once one stone was depleted, it would fall off allowing the second stone to become active when the next block of damage hits. Both cases are still not "stacking".
Then again, maybe this is a variant of "limited uses" per day.

Fortifying stones are not armor enchantments....
True, tho they can lead to the enhancement of armor. My point was more regarding special cases of stacking effects. In hindsight, my comment probably added nothing to this thread. Note to self: Must be more awake next time before posting.
