Does this count as "Animal Companion" for class/feat/anything prerequisites. Looking at nature warden for a gestalt 20+ (Epic) game & the animal companion is the only thing I don't directly have.

Ah well, can't fault a guy for asking. To answer your question, the Nature True Spirit ability "Companion Animal" does indeed make your Shaman Spirit count as an Animal Companion. You should be good to go.
