Since advanced firearms use cartridges which go for 15 gp each, a Gunslinger can make these for 7.5 gold.
But wow, won't the Gunslinger go broke trying to keep up with this? Basically paying 8 gold pieces every time you fire your weapon, seems like there is no way they could keep up with this kind of financial penalty.
Am i missing something obvious? Or are they just screwed?

The Dead Shot Deed turns all of your attacks into a single powerful attack. At level 7 it's possible (though difficult) to get upwards of 6 attacks with Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, Rapid Shot, and Haste. One bullet instead of six would be quite a savings.
The Secret Stash Deed isn't as useful as I thought it was, so disregard the plural I eluded to earlier.
If you foresee firing LOTS of cartridges, perhaps spending 2000gp on this little gem would be an investment.
Otherwise, spending 50gp on an oil of Abundant Ammunition seems plausible, since it has a range of touch.
But, really, having played a Gunslinger to level 12 in PFS, I fired off a lot of ammunition, including a good amount of Adamantine Cartridges, and at mid to high level play it barely made a dent in my wealth.

Seeing if your DM will let you enchant a gun similar to the Pistol of the Infinite Sky?
A +1 version shouldn't be too expensive.

Am I understanding correctly that using bullets as ammo you also need a dose of black powder? A bullet is 1gp and a dose of black powder is 10gp, for a total of 11gp. While an alchemical cartridge costs 12gp and reduces reload times by one step. If this is how it works, there's really no point in not using cartrdiges, is there (aside from the very small, less than 10%, saving)?
EDIT:
I just remembered that Gunsmith reduces cost to 10% with bullets (I assume that goes for the black powder as well), so that would be 1,1gp per shot. Better, but still pretty expensive
