Cleaning the blood off of her blade, Darya turns to lead Telerin over to Sario. "Thanks, you've got a good eye for openings in a fight Sario. How are you holding up Telerin?"

You should. It's a touch spell so you don't need to see, just know who is next to you.

Yeah you can cast on yourself or anyone you choose to touch.

As the others have mentioned, blindness does not prevent you from being able to cast spells.

Arloric and Uriel turn up a couple things of interest in the former library. True to their names, the wrecker demons have largely destroyed most of the rooms contents, including the remains of a pair of humanoids. Although its difficult to discern any other details from their thoroughly pulverized bodies and armor, Arloric finds a gore-soaked morningstar constructed from a dull gray metal. A small charm of Iomedae's holy symbol dangles from the bottom of its haft. Surprisingly, it is the only object in the room that seems to have withstood the abrikandilus' wrath.

Under detect magic, the morningstar glows with two magical aura, one indistinct and the other minor conjuration. Further inspection reveals the haft is hollow enough to fit a single scroll.

Scroll is remove blindness/deafness and the morningstar's Spellcraft DC is 18.

Aberus opens the door to a display hall. Plinths and cabinets stand open or smashed here, their contents either destroyed or looted. The other exits are on the north and west walls.

Sario continues to watch the door out, once it is discovered there is a scroll she takes a peak to see if she knows maybe the language to help out.

The morningstar is a +1 adamantine morningstar.

"Damn right, Kelly!"

Arloric holds up the scroll.

"Who'd like to try lifting Telerin's blindness? I could...kind of? I'm no priest, but I've seen enough of them cast spells like this that I could probably do the same, but if one of us has a surer chance of getting it right, they should have it."

I've got a +10 bonus to Use Magic Device, but if someone else can cast it better, they should have the honors.

Aberus can use the scroll. It is a 3rd level cleric spell so it requires a caster level check vs DC1 + spell caster level = 1+5 = 6. I can only fail if I roll a 1.

Aberus says, "Let me try. While I can't manage it on my own yet, I am familiar with that spell."

Caster Level Check DC6: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Aberus takes the scroll and unrolls it, then reads the words magically inscribed on it. When he finishes, magic courses through him as the writing on the scroll fades away. He walks over next to Telerin and says, "I'm going to touch your shoulder now. After this, you should be able to see again." And then he does.

:)

Alexa, when did you take levels in DOOM Marine?

I've moved the party's tokens to the empty hall. Unless I missed something, all that remains is picking a path and going.
