yes I know the spirit of unchained and will probably go that way but as we play exclusivly with Hero Lab, it must be official to be suported.
My situation is that we have a Barbarian and an inquisitor (rage domain)in my group, who both initialy used the same rage ability. Now we unchain the barbarian, nice. And, since the inquisitor use a barbarian ability, want to also unchain it for her.
So I know it's not covered, but my first reflex was to think it was implicit.
I'm curious, if M.Seifter or any other developer can share what was their idea on the subject when creating the new rage, or any other similar case.

Mark's response to this question was that no rage effect is unchained, just the Barbarian. But that it was in line with the unchained spirit to unchain all the rages.

Personally, I'm against it simply for the new nature of the temporary hit points. It's obscenely good. I can't imagine another reason why you would really want to unchain it.
Although, unchained barbarian's rage is now a better dip for those even dex based characters since it provides a bonus to melee attack and damage, not a strength bonus.
