Improved Craft Wand?

Would you guys allow an Item Creation feat that lets you create Wands up to 6th level, but only if they were Metamagic'd spells of 3rd or lower level?

I could see that but they'd be terribly expensive. I don't think they'd be worth the cost.

Why not just take Craft Staff? The GM could allow the player to design customised staves.
