Half-Elf Keen Senses

Rules Questions

Does having Keen Senses as a half-elf make perception a class skill, or just give you a bonus of +2 if you should get that skill?

There are a number of traits to do this. The most generic is Seeker. The other traits are more powerful but tied to regions or religions.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Having Keen Senses, as a half-elf, makes you even more aware, as compared to a 1/2 elf without, how inferior you are to a full elf.

Sorry but what I'm wanting to know is being a half-elf with keen senses make it a class skill for you, say should you play a class that doesn't have it in it's skills?

Yes or No?

It does not make Perception a class skill. But you get the +2 whether you have ranks there or not; Perception checks can be made untrained. And Perception is often considered the most valuable skill in game, so a bonus there is very nice no matter what your class skills are.

As it does not say it does it does not.
so No
