half-breeds getting parents feats, etc

Rules Questions

I know I've seen this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it when I need it (of course)-

Can a half-breed take racial traits (half-feat variety) or feats that have a specific race as a requirement? Example- can a half-elf take the Elven Accuracy feat?

Thanks in advance

Yes. They can also take archetypes, spells, favored class bonuses, and anything else that specifies belonging to one of their parent races. The half elf you mentioned could take ANYTHING that has a racial prerequisite of elf, human, or half elf... and if he really wanted he could take the human feat Racial Heritage to count as one more race for everything too.

Also favored class bonus, which is great for half elves because elves tend to get some really nice ones.

Here is the FAQ you are probably remembering.

Quote:

Half-Elf or Half-Orc: Can a character of either of these races select human racial archetypes (such as from Advanced Race Guide?

Yes. Half-elves and half-orcs may select racial favored class options, archetypes, traits, and so on, as if they were a full member of both races (a half-elf can select elf and human rules elements, a half-orc can select human and orc rules elements).

Thanks, all!

My half-elven monk pc is really interested in Elven Accuracy, so she's good to go!
