Question on a couple magic items...

Advice

Grand Lodge

1) Quick Runner's shirt in Ultimate Equipment is not allowed for PFS play?

2) Reading the Guide to Character guides it seems they suggest a mithral shield for AC... though a Wizard/Sorcerer are not natural users of such things. Do I take the feat so I can use it?

Thanks

1) Quick Runner's Shirt is not allowed. Link

2) What guide?

2. You do not need a feat to use a Mithral buckler or light shield. Its Armor Check penalty and Arcane failure are zero, so there are no non-proficiency penalties.

This was the one I looked over...might look over the others. But this one had the Gnome Godling Tricketer, which is what I aspire to be.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Silken Ceremonial Armor and Haramaki both have +1 AC, - Dex, 0 Arcane Failure.

Light Mithral Shield likewise has no dex penalty, 0 arcane failure.

I love using these together on wizards, though not for AC. The purpose is really to have something to hold enchantments for you.

I like: Amorphous, (+ 5 CMD against grapple and Escape Artist), Restful (get 8 hours rest in 2 hours), Glamered (looks like normal clothes), and Fortification if you can afford it.

on the Shield, I like: Determination (auto casts Breath of Life on self when at 0 or fewer HP)
