right, got some basic ideas here, I noticed that for an elemental based class, the Kineticist gets no acid damage whatsoever.

That was actually the point the class's designer was aiming for. It

s a four elemental class, not an in-game elemental damage class. Not bad though! :)

I certainly don't mind Lindley taking the lead, nor do I mind having to lead myself, just didn't want to make it seem like I was taking command without consent :P

As for the Elemental Fusionist. I'm going to make a rewrite, I can't settle on an idea but for now it's been shelved and being playtested as an ordinary Kineticist Archetype, I'll add aspects of a secondary class to it soon enough.

Okay! with Elemental Fusionist shelved for now, I'm posting a quick build I had in mind for my Spiritualist/Antipaladin (Necromantic Overlord)

Undead Thrall: Cast Lesser Animate Dead at will, at level 4, this ability becomes Animate Dead this ability replaces phantom and etheric tracker.

Undead Master: gain the undead master feat, this ability replaces shared conciousness

Bonded Senses: The same, but only on one chosen undead thrall.

Cruel Machinations: undead thralls are under the effects of a chosen level 3 cruelty. every 3 levels thereafter, he may pick another cruelty from the antipaladin's list of cruelties. The undead spreads this cruelty to enemies it attacks, but each target can only be targeted once every 24 hours. This ability replaces phantom powers.

Form of the Lich: Cast Undead Appearance I/II/III as a sepll like ability, this ability replaces bonded manifestation

Channel Negative Energy: gained at level 4, replaces phantom powers

Wall of Flesh: This ability acts as Spiritual Interference, and is modiefied by her undead thralls.

Detect Undead: The same

Necromantic Recall: Like phantom recall, but for undead thralls.

Turn Undead: gain the turn undead feat, using channel negative energy instead of positive energy. This ability replaces calm spirit.

Bolster Undead: gain the bolster undead feat, this ability replaces Fused conciousness.

Still a bunch of other abilities I'm looking into tweaking/replacing, as always I'm open to ideas.

Dark Archive

Has this been forgotten?

Nope! I'm still here, I've just been pretty occupied with university and work, been keeping an eye on here in case anything pops up.

Any new ideas?

I think the ideas well dried up when El left for other things, alas.

I've got old word documents full of half-complete ideas and such, but the popularity of this thread died out so there wasn't much I could do to complete them.

Do you guys need assistance with keeping the MCARchetype website up and running? If so I am willing to aid. My group uses it heavily and i would like to help.

I'm affraid the MCArchetypes wiki site is no longer there. We couldn't keep it going monetarily between the 5 of us, especially with no funding for it. We are planning on putting the info up on the Pathfinder Community site as time permits.

What is the cost? I was in the middle of bringing Wizards into my archetype list when it tanked.

Was just about to start a fresh Pathfinder game when I noticed the wiki was down. I don't mind helping finance the wiki, or help put things over onto the pathfinder community site either, Just let me know if there's anything that needs to be done.

To be honest I've been feeling that itch to get this project back on the road, but things slowed down to a halt some time ago, I wouldn't mind giving it another try since we'd be giving this project life again anyway.

Some of the MCAs are on d20pfsrd, so the rest could be moved there as well, yes?

Before I wander off again: Thanks to the whole MCA team! Several of your innovations have been godsends in crafting several campaign archetypes. Te Rune scar spellbook has saved me massive amounts of balance problems just this week.

I am just willing to pay for it to be restored. I believe from when I talked to them even about an anonymous donation it was $200 for the year. However you need to be an organizer to pay according to them. Sadly I can't access the sword dance even on the cache pages. :(

OK, so we have done a Wiki Dump of the raw unformatted info onto the PF Community site. Currently there seems to be a glitch. It was working before.

We have also added all the docs the MCA gang used to keep track and organize all the MCAs as pdfs onto the Community site as well.
PF Community MCA Pdfs. If you know the name of a particular MCA and its Primary Class, then you should beable to track down the right pdf for it. :D

Someone suggested a crowd funding of the wiki, but I know nothing about it, so we're looking into it, and the legality of it as this is all nonprofit OGL content. We'll let people know if that happens. Would take care of a lot of things if we can work out something like this.

That's all for now.

Glad you like that one.

Glad we were able to save the MCAs, nice job El :)

I've got the dump up on PathfinderCommunity.net now, and it should be working correctly. I've also grabbed a few of the dumped pages and put them into new pages on the site, and the HTML seems to drop in pretty easily. Each page will take a bit of formatting, so for now I'm leaving a template from another MCA at the bottom of each page Click here to see an example with the Aegis Lancer
This will require a massive undertaking to get all the MCAs onto their own pages and formatted correctly, so please bear with us for a good long time. I'm also happy to take on additional help from anyone who is familiar with Google Sites and has a vested interest in the MCAs.

Question is, where do we go with MCAs now? let it be as is now it's in safekeeping, or continue working on it in the new format?

For now, you can feel free to continue designing and planning them out, and putting them into this thread, I would say. However, it'll be a while before any new ones are incorporated in any real way, since we're going to have so much to do with the current ones.

I'd like to try my hand at a few classes, especially since the Vigilante and Occult classes have arrived. I've got some basic ideas from shelved projects, should anyone care to help flesh them out?

Spiritualist/Antipaladin - Necromantic Overlord (focus on undead minions, condition spreading and channeling negative energy)

Investigator/Ranger - Toxicologist (poison specialty, tailored toxins to a favored enemy)

Alchemist/Mesmerist - Drug Apothecary (Drug-based alchemist, nuff said)

Vigilante/Slayer - Covert Agent (dual-identity, one meant for info gathering and blending in, the other meant for silent assassination and espionage)

might be best if you created a new MCA thread, its not like this is the first.

Hey Browman, nice to see ya again!

And yeah, sounds like a good idea.

Yeah, I think a new thread, with whoever is going to head the new batch of MCAs posting the initial post and moderating the thread. Make sure you also post the PF Community site and link to the MCA dump (http://www.pathfindercommunity.net/multiclass-archetype-supplements/mcarch etypes-dump) the MCAs on the community site (http://www.pathfindercommunity.net/classes/multiclass-archetypes), and the free PDFS (http://www.pathfindercommunity.net/classes/multiclass-archetypes/pdf-files ).

Then, have at it! The new MCAs are in your hands guys. I'm done with them, as I believe the core 5 are. Unless something catches our eye of course. Keep the dream alive.

I don't mind getting things started and keeping things moderated, I wouldn't think myself a leader though by any means.

My only question is where would we put new MCAs once that are deemed 'complete'?

I would be happy to make you a contributor on the pathfindercommunity.net site if you'd like to put them there as you finish them. I just know I'll be wrapped up in transferring the current ones for a good long time, so I won't get to new ones for a while.

That sounds fair to me, let me know when and how over a private message and then I'll start up the next thread ready for Multiclass Archetyles XI :)

I *might* have time in the future to make my overlord (anime) inspired wizard/ vigilante, but free time is at an all time low lately.

STOP! DO NOT POST ON THIS THREAD!

This thread has now moved to the new Multiclass Archetypes XI: Resurgence thread. Find us there. If you post here, you will receive no response.
