I was looking at coagulating a blob of PFS GM Credit into an Arcanist, and would appreciate some feedback. The idea was to use the Occultist archetype to bust out standard action summons, then switch to blasting and crowd control. The Arcanist was chosen over Wizard due to being the only way I know of to get Potent Magic augmented blasts along with standard action summons.
Race: Human
Str: 7
Dex: 14
Con: 14
Int: 18 OR 19
Wis: 9
Cha: 14 OR 12
Traits: Wayang Spellhunter (Burning Arc), Magical Lineage (Burning Arc)
1: Spell Focus: Evocation, Spell Specialization: Magic Missile
2:
3: Exploit: Metamagic Knowledge (Empower Spell), Spell Focus: Conjuration
4: Switch Spell Specialization to Burning Arc
5: Exploit: Potent Magic, Augment Summoning
6:
7: Intensify Spell
8:
9: Exploit:School Understanding (Admixture), Superior Summoning
11: Greater Exploit:Greater Metamagic Knowledge, Open Feat
At level 2 (when I'd start playing it), this build puts out 3d4+3 magic missiles--not the greatest blast, but far less risk/reward tradeoff than the 5d4 Burning Hands it could be doing instead. At lower levels, Conjurer's Focus is like getting several extra spell slots combined with Acadamae Graduate.
When it picks up Burning Arc at 4, it already deals 7d6 Empowered, and hits the 10d6 cap at 6. I would be picking up a Ring of Summoning Affinity (Asura) at 7-- the Adhukait with Augment Summoning is crazy good. It seems like it would scale well into PFS tier 10-11, particularly in groups.
One weakness I'm seeing in the build is initiative--by higher levels, it's probably only going to be around +4. Any thoughts?

Sinking character build points into charisma isn't really worth it when the only thing it affects is school understanding. You could just pick up a Rod of Elemental Spell instead if it is really an issue. Other than that you are hurting a bit for an initiative boosting feat and Quick Study is an exploit I personally would want by level 5. It offers an amazing level of utility.
On the initiative front you can help yourself with the Heightened Awareness spell for an extra +4 in combats which matter.

Heightened Awareness will help. As for the stat array, I played the character at 1st level as a Necromancer following ShakaUVM's "Guide to Necromantic Success", so the stats were a holdover from that. If I drop School Understanding, that frees up a feat slot for Improved Initiative or Extra Exploit. Dumping Cha down to 7 would free up 6 points on the right-hand stat array--I could either bump Wis to 10 and Con to 16, or push Int to 20 and Wis to 11.

Since i can't find any thing backing my claim i Think it is safe to ignore me:)
