A wizard begins play with a spellbook containing all 0-level wizard spells (except those from his prohibited schools, if any; see Arcane Schools) plus three 1st-level spells of his choice. The wizard also selects a number of additional 1st-level spells equal to his Intelligence modifier to add to the spellbook.
i need the math there only 20, 0 lvl spells in the core book if i add all the books there 69 (if i add 1001 spells there 148), 0 lvl spells so....
do you get all 69 (if you/me let you use 1001 spells 148), 0 lvl spell or do you get 20 and let you pick out the 20 you like or something?
why i asking this i have a old fart that when he reads all 0 lvl spells he mean ALL!
WHEN THERE 148 0 LVL SPELL DID YOU BUY A OTHER SPELL BOOK THERE ONLY 100 SHEET IN ONE SPELL BOOK OR 100, 0 LVL SPELLS NOT 148 SPELLS!
sorry he loves 1001 spell and he making me let him use it im going to end the game and tell him to leave! (i hate him but hes my father) i need some help here.

Theoretically, it's what your DM says.
By RAW it's only spells in the Core Rulebook, and any other Wizard/Sorc spells printed elsewhere are "exotic" and must be learned, even Cantrips
However, unless your DM has very good reasons for doing so or is VERY strict at RAW rulings, you won't need to worry about that.
The vast, vast majority of DMs allow immediate access to spells in all books equally (meaning they treat it as one giant spell list). DMs may restrict spells on a case-by-case basis, though, just like normal, which is usually based on the campaign.
That being said, not every DM is going to allow every PRD book, so be sure to ask your DM what books you're going to be using.
PFS assumes that the entire PRD is legal, plus all Players' Companions, with a list of exceptions of banned spells etc. listed on this site and in documentation for PFS.

i used hero lab that means there spell the hero lab did add then the core book only
I have no idea what you were trying to convey here. Guessing - HeroLab only included the Core spells???
In any case - For most GMs, third party books are usable only with GM approval. So it would be completely reasonable for you to refuse to let him use anything at all from 1001 Spells. In-game, Wizards have to learn all their spells, and the 0-level spells in the core rules are the ones they routinely learn at wizard school (or from their master).
If you want to be generous, you can let him pick a small number (say, equal to his Int mod) to add from that other source - but you should still get to approve each of them. Alternately, you can occasionally add some of them into NPC spellbooks and he can learn new ones that way.

Per RAW, a 1st level wizard starts play with ALL 0-level spells inscribed in his spellbook. If you allow multiple sources, ALL 0-level spells would be in the wizard's spellbook. However, you're running the game and determining which sources are allowed. If you don't allow 1001 Spells, it isn't allowed. Period.
If you want to limit the number of spells allowed but still allow all sources, your idea of allowing the wizard to pick a number of 0-level spells to add automatically and have them pay for extras.
The CRB indicates the 1st level wizard receives his/her first spellbook for free. If he badgers you into allowing all 148 0-level spells, he gets one spellbook for free, and it has 100 pages filled with the first 100 0-level spells. He then has to buy his second spellbook which already has 48/100 pages filled with 0-level spells. Then he has to find a way to transport all that when he goes adventuring.

Can you quote me the rule that says if Wise Leaping Frog of Tien Dang invents a new cantrip, it magically appears in every spellbook of Golarion?

Weird - rereading it, Paizo changed the wording of both the Wizard and Sorcerer (never took a very-hard look at it, 'cause there wasn't any difference between how spells were gained/operated/etc. from 3.5); in 3.5 there was wording that could be used as RAW because it said "wizard/sorcerer spell IN THIS BOOK" in there.
Apparently, yeah, every spell that's added to the sum-total of the Wizard Spell list is available by both RAI and RAW. Good to know.

Yep. "A wizard begins play with a spellbook containing all 0-level wizard spells". The GM is free to add a houserule limiting access to Wise Leaping Frog of Tien Dang's cantrip, but it would seem that it DOES "magically appears in every spellbook" (though not limited to JUST Golarion) by RAW. Must be some kind of cantrip fairy.

i would say not it is said that they begin play with a spellbook containing those spells presumably thats because they learnt them all while they were studying to become wizards they would still need to learn a newly invented cantrip the same way they would any spell.
and besides if all spellbooks by default had all the spells when first made you would end up with a lot of wasted space throughout your books

so you saying that the other books are not core book then i can say no to Ultimate Magic really! all the games i play Ultimate Magic and the others ( combat, APG, ACG, ARG, ext) are as treated core books if i say no to any of the "core books" they will kill me nvm not letting magus and the other classes ppl like to play if i let ppl play the class i have to let ppl use the spells in the book so is that you are say that the other books are not core books?
BTW i did go back in to hero lab i dont have a specialized (Universalist) and there 28 spells in the core "rule" book im ont doing to do the math for the others is over 100 any way your right my bad

"Core" in D&D 3.5 and "Core" in Pathfinder mean two entirely different things.
"Core" in 3.5 meant the Core Four - the four Open Game License books which said "Core Rulebook 1/2/3/4" on them - and thus referred to the System Reference Document (SRD) that they also made up.
The term "Core" in Pathfinder refers specifically to the Core Rulebook, while the term "PRD" refers to all the central books and rules of Pathfinder, and is basically Paizo's answer to the SRD.
The PRD (Pathfinder Reference Document - an Open Source documentation forming the basic rules of the Pathfinder version of the d20 system) consists of 16 (soon to be 18) books: Core Rulebook, Advanced Player's Guide, Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Combat, Advanced Race Guide, Advanced Player's Guide, Ultimate Equipment, GameMastery Guide, Ultimate Campaign, Pathfinder Unchained, Bestiary 1/2/3/4, NPC Codex, Monster Codex, Technology Guide, Mythic Adventures, Occult Adventures.
The Core Rulebook has all the bare-bones-basic rules of the system, like what Stats mean, how to make attacks or cast spells, what Skills there are and what they do, etc. It also contains a number of options that succeeding books build on, like Weapon Focus, Power Attack, Rage Powers, Domains, Bloodlines, etc.
Therefore, the CRB is the only "necessary" book of the PRD. If a DM is going to disallow any books in the PRD, they're far-less-likely to disallow the CRB than they are the others; that being said, ANY book in the PRD is up to DM discretion whether it's allowed or not, so even the CRB isn't 100% safe.

There is precedent. The White Witches in Irrisen have a specialised frost cantrip for the archetype. It is not learned by default, the witch has to choose it as one of her learned spells for first level.
The same would apply to Jolt, Breeze, etc. from the Paizo Blog. Those are listed as rare cantrips to be learned.

(i hate him but hes my father)I think you may have bigger issues to worry about then the cantrips his wizard starts with....
This thread says 28 cantrips, I might go 30 and give him Chameleon Scales if he is a kobold - or even just 'cause if I'm feeling generous - not like it's going to do much for him until he can alter self to a scaly form unless he has a scaly familiar.
And even if he isn't of the right faction let him have Sotto Voce -he can spend some time trying to hunt down the spell description.
Even if he has all 30 plus whatever you approve from 1001 spells - he can only have so many prepared for a day. I have a Wizard PC that stared with a bunch of cantrips - less than 1/2 of them made it into my traveling spellbook - and only that many because I'm a pack the kitchen sink sort.
So start him with all of the cantrips he wants, then have the party captured (mistaken identity) and the capture questioning the party for information. Rather than cut on the Wizard he slowly tears one page at a time from his spellbook and lights it on the candle.... You can take him down to 28 pretty fast and totally cement his hatred of a recurring villain.
