Coming Next Week.
Qwilion of Questhaven,
In every land we find them—the awesome and terrible Kaiju. Some call them monsters; some call them gods. Regardless of the beliefs surrounding them, tales of these mythical creatures abound. The stories presented here offer a perspective on some of the greatest kaiju across the lands. As these are legends, some exaggeration is bound to exist, yet as no one can interview these mammoth creatures, it is very difficult to separate the fact from the fiction. Indeed, were the truth fully known, these beings may very well be even more fantastical than the tales claim.
With all respect,
Leiraleen Amelour

It is a collection of new Kaiju monsters for GM's to use, and rules for use with Kaiju, plus some GMing advice on how to use Kaiju in their Campaigns.
I'm feeling pretty hype about this. I've always wanted to figure out a way to introduce kaiju into a campaign/world, just never knew how. This sounds right up my alley.

I wonder which Pathfinder species would be good for the race of evil aliens that takes control of the 'good' kaiju until the heroes can liberate him/them? (Sorry, flashing back on a lot of cheesy 70's Godzilla flicks there.)
Phrenic Scourge the Ultimate Psionics replacement for Mind Flayers.

It’s Going to be Colossal!
Kaiju Codex brings you 20 new massive monsters for Game Masters to use in their Pathfinder Roleplaying Game ranging from the natural disaster style CR 30 Worldshaker to the lesser Kaiju like CR 8 Hubrun, The Big Goblin, so you can find a challenge to fit your game! This product builds on the existing Kaiju rules of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game while adding some new twist so you can make the existing Kaiju even more dangerous!
We also include The Iron Knight for Player Characters to crew, so you can have Kaiju vs Mech-like combat. There is an artifact for PCs to control a Kaiju for a short period of time, so you can Let Them Fight! Plus advice on GMing Kaiju so your game can play like a Japanese Monster Movie or focus on something more classical like Jörmungandr, The World Serpent.

Got it... and loving it... especially Hubrun the Big Goblin and every single template I can layer upon to make it more dangerous >:)
Little issues though
1) I kinda wish that the descriptions were... real descriptions. What we have right now are more about a lore section. Also, some monsters don't have images... so it's kinda hard to get the idea of its look.
2) The Iron Knight... seems kinda complicated for nothing. Seems to me like it's just a "suit of armor" that "makes its wearer" a Gargantuan humanoid, using the Knight's physical stats while using the wearer's mental stats.
Aside from that, pretty good booklet :)

Ok... upon a second reading, there's something... off about Taurosu: it's a Kaiju-killing Kaiju... that deals Con damage upon hitting with its natural attacks... that will not work on Kaijus due to them being immune to ability damage.
Huh... yeah... kinda of a pointless ability... unless Kaiju Bane makes it possible for Taurosu to deal ability damage to other Kaijus...
Care to enlighten me on that issue here please?
Thanks in advance ^_^

It's simply an oversight. Kaiju should take Con damage as listed from Taurosu's attacks.

I would guess that a desire for a more interesting Kaiju-fighting vehicle would be sated by converting Dragon Mech material, but that's just a stab in the dark.
The problem is that the Dragonmech rules for mechs... aren't easy to grasp.
- To move, you need a pilot.
- If the pilot isn't "proficient" with mechs, he needs a gunner to attack.
- The mech cannot attack AND move in the same round, unless the pilot has a feat.
- For each weapon, a gunner is needed.
- The pilot needs another feat to make use of the weapons on board
In short... it isn't as simple as simply controlling a Gargantuan creature...

For a much crazier kaiju fighting option try the newest FREE issue of Pathways, Issue #49, which has the Daikaiju Creature Template and the Circlets of the Exalted Taskforce (think voltron).
