Advice

Alright while I have no decided strictly on this yet I am curious about this combo and would like more insights on it. Is it worth taking what could make it work well together.

Brawler//Arcanist
The idea is that with the flexibility of the Arcanist and the Flexible feats of the brawler there is really nothing this character can't do day by day. So how would it be best to make this character work together?

Especially if you plugged that onto this race.
Remember it would be built with a run of Straight 18s.

with that idea your Brawler half would obviously be the damage dealer, use Arcanist for buffing and utility

How many other players are their in your party?

personally i would try and do one thing really well (maybe brawler magus) instead of trying to do everything and outshining the party en mass

we have a party of just 3 people none of us optimized.

Kinda MAD, but if you're getting straight 18s I guess such a thing doesn't matter.

But if you're looking for good Gestalt Combinations, may I suggest THIS thread.

If its only 3 people your route isnt bad i think i remember you said in the other thread one of the other players was thinking warpriest/rogue right?

that gives your party a front line an arcane caster a divine and a skill/stealth roll in two players leaving your 3rd player free to do what they want i say go for it do whatever you want/makes you happy

That was sort of the idea to best fill slots when we needed them. 9th level caster like the Arcanist that can learn every spell from the Wiz/Sorc spell list and with a Full Round action get the spell I absolutely need for the occation. While still being viable in a fist fight or just straight up melee once I use up the spells that make it a mop up. The Warpriest/Rogue is my fiance and yeah she likes the healer/sneaky feel of it and it works well for her not to mention she is Skill-Monkey with a 8+Int she can easily handle a lot of the skill checks we need. (We were talking about getting her the Academic Priest feat from Dragonlance which switches the Wis focus of the Warpriest to Int to make that even more powerful.) She has a really good roll too so an 18 in Int plus racial bonus of her so a 20 Int so a 8+5 for skills makes her the uberskill master.

I think he is going to go Gunslinger//Monk due to the good synergy and of coruse duel wielding Six shooters later with a great AC. I suggested Warpriest for Crusader's Flurry with a pistol. (The benefit section of Crusader's flurry makes no mention of the melee bit, just that you have the weapon focus feat on your god's melee favored weapon)

would like to see your fiance's full stat array, because thinking about it a WP/Rogue (unless you take the feat for int to casting there is also the 3pp feat called spell finesse that lets you switch your casting stat) that combo will NEED Str, Dex, and Int, Con is a strong secondary obviously, and Cha for possible divine protection and party face responsibilities.

does monk really go well with gunslinger? i would think something like ranger with combat styles or a slayer?

Gunslinger Monk is mostly due to the Wis to AC, Full Good Saves, and a backup weapon if your gun explodes. Warpriest would be slightly better.

18, 18, 12, 14, 12, 16 is her stat roll out.

you don't need crazy int because you are only 2/3rds caster

18 Str
18 Dex
14 Con
16 Int
12 Wis
12 Cha

I don't know what race she is playing but find something thats +2 STR, +2 Int -2 Cha

or if you play elf use elven curve blade and take weapon finesse, and slashing grace letting you dump Str which may be one of her better options for core races

or you can use that cracked ioun stone that gives weapon familiarity for 1500 and use any exotic weapon anyways

like i said in the other thread warpriest because of fervor is a very "selfish" character option it might be rough to rely on her as your main healer
