The Emerald Spire

I have a quick question, I was thinking of running The Emerald Spire for my Pathfinder Society, however their Characters are already 4th Level, and I noticed while reading the sheets for the adventures that the first 2 dungeon levels are for tiers 1-3. Does this mean I can run it, but they won't get credit for it? Or can I run it and they will get credit for it? Or is there a way of adapting the adventures so it can be done for their level...either way I can't really just skip over the first 2 levels. Any help would be great, thank you!

You could just skip the two levels, or let them play the first levels with pregens or their other characters, it is not ideal, but if they are already level 4 there is no way for them to get credit on those characters.

The Emerald Spire is not really adaptable and there are no adjustments, quite a number of GMs have suggested a 4-6 person limit.

Fair warning that the adventure also needs a bit of tweaking. For shiggles, my buddy and I ran the adventure as a solo adventure with an anti-paladin (he sought ultimate power of course), and he cleared the first two floors himself with barely a scratch, even with all the monsters being alerted to his plate armored movements.

Earl with due respect, I really don't see a level 1 PFS character clearing two levels alone, depending on race I can see two clever characters doing it.

Unless there is a boon for it, I would suspect the antipaladin was not a PFS character

It was a general run of the game. It was not a PFS event by any means, though we did use PFS rules other than he wanted to play an anti-paladin, because who else is brash enough to storm a dungeon single handed and crave that much power?

And i don't know if it was just the rolls or some good optimization, but he murdered his way through (carefully mind you). (Yes, i checked his character sheet for shenanigans, but none were to be found.)

If he did then I suspect that the location was not used to very good effect. The difficult terrain and darkness effect on level 1 alone can allow the goblins to peforrm annoying hit and run tactics against many enemies for pretty much as long as they want.

More like he didn't allow hit and run tactics, because he knew that would eventually kill him. Hard to run when you're cut down.

The point is, the Emerald Spire for a moderately optimized party would be a walk in the park for the first few floors. I was warning the OP that he may need to modify the original adventure to accommodate for his players.

Still not sure how he was able to cut down goblins he couldn't see. Or why goblins with darkness on their side would get into melee with someone clearly stronger than them.
