In Need of a Good Doctor Build

I am a fan of Doctor Who obviously, I am also wanting to play something similar in an upcoming game.

The game begins at level 5 and will likely run till 13-15 range.
We are using a 25 Point Buy
I wanted to use a human, but I might be talked into a human-like race.

I thought about the Resurrection Druid, using the Dragonlance feat of either Academy Priest or Dynamic Priest to switch his casting stat to either Int or Cha which seems more Doctor-ish.

I'd suggest an Empiricist Investigator. Super knowledgeable and some really neat tricks. 1 lvl of inspired swashbuckler and fencing grace for panache and parries with a rapier and dex to damage for your attacks. Elf works well for the swashbuckler and fits the theme of long life, but half-elf and human work great too.

Arcanist could also be good, knowledeable, Always have the spell you need the moment you need it. Also the exploits have some cool tricks. Any race should be fine here.

Bard, again knowledgeable and a great morale booster. People always did better with the Doctor around. And some great charm spells for getting people to like you or go along with your plans. Again, any race could work for this.

You would want to make sure you can do non lethal damage. Short of the occasional Dalek or cyber man, the doctor never, ever kills things. But I assume your party won't just run away until you can outsmart the baddies, like he does.

For the Druid, what's the name of your companion?

I built one who is an emberkin aasimar (+2 Int and Cha) bard. High Int and bardic knowledge means tons of skills and good Knowledges. If you want to go all-out, get a wand of Knock.

If you have access to 3rd party stuff the Time Warden is a VERY Doctor Who class, paired with Samsaran race you would have a Blue Doctor Who.

Using Paizo the Time Oracle is probably the closest.

LMAO, perfect!!!

Maybe a multi-spell wand or small staff so you can include other sonic screwdriver effect spells, such as Detect Magic / Identify for scanning, etc.

Oh and a blue box that allows you to use Mage's Magnificent Mansion and Plane Shift (sadly there isn't a time travel spell).
