Any way to brand / mark a character?

Advice

I'm looking for a way to mark, (either temporarily or permanently) a character who shook on a deal with a devil. I was wondering if there was some sort of spell or supernatural ability that could turn someone's arm a different color. Any ideas?

i've some ideas, but i must warn you...i'm not normal:

1-your fantasy
2-your fantasy+GM approval
3-your fantasy+GM approval+a session where the GM let you call a devil to seal a pact with

Maybe some sort of permanency attached to a Prestidigitation spell? That seems awfully high cost for such a simple effect...

I know Arcane Mark will let you inscribe a rune that can either be visible to just you or to everyone... of course the easiest way is just to create a home-brew spell. In theory at least almost any magical effect exists out there in some spell form or other...

Pathfinder Maps, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Maps, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber

Arcane mark was made for this.

About the arm, maybe you should take a look on Cybertech
you could innest an arm, and adding 0,00 gp i think you could choose the colour ;)

you could also consider using necromantic innests of D&D3.5

@Edit: btw i prefer the first choice; with fantasy you can do almost everything about aspect.
I had a barbarian kid, tiny, with blond hair, blue eyes...while raging he became bigger, green hair and red eyes...

Look at it this way - Continual Flame is a 2nd level spell that creates a permanent Light spell (cantrip). You're basically trying to create a permanent Arcane Mark which is also a cantrip, so figure a homebrew 2nd level spell would be appropriate.

Alternatively, you could use the spell Brand, and covver his arm in many overlapping brands that form a solid color

Simple.... put a mark on the character. And no matter what he does, the mark doesn't go away.

Player want's to know what it is? Tell him it's the Devil's Mark.

Not every single story element has to be boiled down to rules mechanics.

If the player complains about it, or not getting a save, remind him that he waived that option by agreeing to the deal in the first place.

Your best option isn't arcane exactly. You're looking for a curse that simply does what you want it to do. Depending on the power of the Devil, a simple Remove Curse may not be sufficient. This also happens to render the effect immune to dispels and antimagic.

Depending on how far you want to go, the discoloration itself may very well be permanent, even after the curse is lifted (if ever).

If there's a complaint about saves, tell him he forfeited the save by making willing contact (handshake)

Bestow Curse can do things like this.
