Hi!
I build a human twf-ranger up to level 6. My builds aim is max damage.
At the moment I dont know how to get further. weather I should take
a level barbarian or fighter or even rogue or if I should stick to the
ranger? My weapons are two Wakizashis. What feats are the best. Any help would be appreciated. This
is my build
Str: 21
Dex: 16
Con: 14
Int: 8
Wis: 12
Cha: 7
I took the Skirmisher Archetype, so I have Hunter's Tricks
1: Piranha Strike, Surge of Success
2: Bonus Feat: Two Weapon Fighting
3: Double Slice
4:
5: Hunter's Trick (Stag's Leap), double slice
6: Bonus Feat: Improved Two weapon Fighting
My Traits are:
Reactionary: +2 to initiative. Everybody loves initiative.
Carefully Hidden: +1 to Will saves (and a minor additional bonus)
Thanks in advance!

Staying ranger will help by increasing your favored enemy bonus.
a lv1 Barbs rage is just a few rounds, so a very temporary boost.
you have double slice twice.
TWF is only good for the DPS if you're fighting a favored enemy. If you're fighting a variety of opponents then change to slayer, same thing but you get a smaller bonus against anything you want and sneak attack built in.

Is there a particular reason to take piranha strike over power attack?
Both are effectively the same for a ranger doing TWF, but power attack also lets you use it for other weapons if you need to switch things up (for example, having a nice club as back up if you face skeletons).
Piranha strike is just a version of power attack for dex users...which does not apply to you and your 21 strength.
So what are you looking for if you do choose to multiclass. Barbarians' rage is a bit limited if you only dip it. Fighter can be nice for feats, but are you starving for any? Rogues....have you considered slayer? Meshes well with ranger since they also allow for your bonus feats, they get sneak attack, and they have studied target.

Getting around the favored enemy limits is why I am very fond of Freebooter Rangers

You can take a level in Alchemist. A mutagen can up your St by 4 points and therefore give you +2 attack/damage. Plus you can use any of a variety of magic wands with which to buff yourself further.
That is an hour of work for 10 minutes of buff.
Plus, I am vaguely unsure of whether they qualify for spell trigger items (the argument is that they have extracts instead; I am not supporting this idea, I have just seen it brought up on the rules forums before; no idea how those threads turned out, so I could be completely wrong on this)

The class description of Alchemist explicitly states that Alchemists can use spell trigger items as if their extracts were spells. They can't cast spells from spell completion items such as scrolls, but they can peruse and learn spells from wizard spell books, which suggests--but I am vaguely uncertain of this--that they could learn spells (as extracts) from scrolls, just not cast from them.
An hour of work for 10 min of buff is on par with most buffing spells, I think. 10 minutes is longer than most combats. It's a faster time: you don't need 8 hours of rest before you can remix a mutagen. Plus, the OP would get all these benefits at the cost of a 1 level dip.
