Any Games going on Thursday before the con starts?
Well, I'll probably be running my annual Metamorphosis Alpha game then.
(Or were you only looking for Pathfinder Society? :)
Either way, I'll definitely be there Thursday and definitely interested in playing something (prefereably multiple somethings) that day!
I'd be up to play a game or two on the Thursday if there's space :)
I fly in from the UK late on Wednesday so be good to capitalise the most play time possible :)
I will most likely run something again this year on the day before the con starts. I gotta get orgainzed and figure out what.
I have been a bit busy over on the RPG Superstar forums this week :)
Still not sure if I'm going to come. At first I was; then I wasn't. Now I'm on the fence again. Last year, when I lived a few-hour drive way, it was a no-brainer. Now that I'm a $600 round trip plane flight away, it's harder to decide to come....
In any event, there are still a few months to figure out Thursday games :) If I do come, I will probably arrive Thursday afternoon, so I'd be interested in an evening game. Last year I played in Rusty's "Risen from the Sands" game on Thursday night, which was jolly, even if it did mean I didn't get quite as much sleep as I'd have liked before Friday morning....
I'm definitely hoping to get in a Thursday night Society game. I only get to do Pathfinder Society a couple of times a year, so I need to maximize my games at Paizocon. :)
Im willin to run bonekeep thursday night if anyone needs. just send me a message on here if ur interested.
I'm down for a Thursday game if wifey goes for it
I'll be arriving around 5:30 pm Thursday, so I probably won't be there in time for much of anything, but I'm game for any later games. :)
I may or may not be available. I hear there is a dinner I'll be attending.

Unfortunately, I'll be getting in late Thursday evening, otherwise, I'd love to join up in a game!
Hey all - I've reactivated the Warhorn site I setup last year for pre-con games - LINK HERE
Anyone should be able to join up to play (you have to create a warhorn account if you don't have one), and I'm happy to add games, or add people the rights to create games (and slots). If you want either, best to email me (address in my profile) at the moment.
I've setup a "Meet & Eat" game also for Thursday evening.
Majuba wrote: Hey all - I've reactivated the Warhorn site I setup last year for pre-con games - LINK HERE Majuba, might you want to expand that Warhorn to allow others to set up slots for midday games? As you know, PFS isn't scheduling any PFS for most (all?) mid-slots during the convention.
The current slot schedule is:
Slot 1: Friday, May 22, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Slot 2: Friday, May 22, 7:00 PM to Midnight
Slot 3: Saturday, May 23, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Slot 4: Sunday, May 24, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Slot 5: Sunday, May 24, 7:00 PM to Midnight
Slot 6: Monday, May 25, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Meaning that Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 2pm to 6pm, PFSers are needing to self-organize to get games in (if they wish).
Ah we think alike my friend - thanks for posting the schedule, was just about to look for it. Of course.. you *are* staff on the site too... but it's done - as 1:30 - 6:30 slots. Didn't include Monday b/c I don't know if the Hotel is completely available (can add later).
Deidre suggested it would be good for Quest slots too, if someone feels like adding/running those.
Painlord, were you the one who ran "Shadows Fall" on Thursday last year?
(If so, your Drandle Dreng was awesome.)
I better signup for that warhorn.

Nope, that wasn't me (though I do do a mean Drundle Dringle). uh uh huh eh heh...I said 'doo doo'...huh huh eh huh heh heh.
And, lookee there....I do have access to edit and add crap to the warhorn. After the middle schedule gets put out, I'll work with Majuba to see if we want to use this warhorn for self-scheduling games.
I can't imagine what they have planned that is going to suck up the tables and players from PFS during the middle slots, but I hope to be proven wrong. If it doesn't work, we can organize on our own.

No, that was the awesome Keith Romero.

No, that was the awesome Keith Romero. That was a great game!

I'll likely play or run a game (or two!) on Thursday. I am intrigued by this AFK place. I missed out on it last year as I got in to SEA-TAC a little late. Getting there a day earlier this year.
I just locked down my flight and hotel. I will be arriving early wednesday to do some sight seeing around the city.
So I will definitely be up for running/playing a game sometime on Thursday. Also possibly on wednesday night if anyone is interested.
My flight gets in early Thursday afternoon. I might be up for a Thursday afternoon game, depending on what we mean by "afternoon" (and on whether or not my flight is on time). I'll definitely be up for an evening game.
I heard from a little birdie what one of the VO dinner topics will be, and am now REALLY excited to attend and learn about it.
And no, I cannot tell any of you what it is about. :)
Should be available for Thursday night game as I live close to the hotel. Can even GM something

I'd be up for some gaming with you again pre-con Rusty :) Was great fun last year.
Think my flight from the UK gets in early evening on Wednesday, so up for games Thursday no worries :)
my warhorn doesnt show any games. just shows myself and 1 other person registered to attend the precon event. is there an issue on my end or has no one signed up
I see the same
Guess people are waiting for the full schedule before committing to stuff.
well i can run or play Thursday night just need to know what other Thursday people would wanna play
That will depend on WHAT I can still play. :)
TOZ, aren't you at a VO dinner on Thursday night?
Answer uncertain, ask again later.
well TOZ if u decide to play thursday just pm me a scenario, id be happy to run for a different vo than i am used to
I still need to decide what to run. Are there requests?
PFS or something else?
If PFS do people have specific scenarios in mind?
(I would like to avoid running season 6 scenarios, since they will be the focus of PFS during the con.)
Thus far, I only see the Meet & Eat on Warhorn. I volunteer to run any PFS scenario (and / or selected sanctioned modules, if given enough notice) for interested players on Thursday and the midday slots. (Barring delays, I should arrive in Seattle on Wednesday PM.)
Is there interest in anything in particular? I know that a lot of us have played or read most everything since, as a group, we tend to be the ones who run for our local lodges. Perhaps Bonekeep? Eyes of the Ten? Wardens of the Reborn Forge (for you higher level folks)? The evergreen scenarios and quests?

If we are trying to stay away from Season 6, here are some Season 5 scenarios that I never got a chance to play if we are entertaining requests:
#5-7 Port Godless (5-9)
#5-9 Traitor's Lodge (3-7)
#5-17 Fate of the Fiend (7-11)
#5-21 Merchant's Wake (1-5)
#5-23 Cairn of Shadows (5-9)
#5-24 Assault on the Wound (3-7)
Any of these workable?
Walter
5-24 benefits from a flexible timeslot (it can run long, depending on a lot of factors).
I, or anyone else setup as staff on the event can add the game decided on.
Given the time available, don't be afraid to pick something and see if there's enough interest for a table.
If it helps give an idea for games, I'd be interested in any of the following (staying away from Season 6):
#3-10 The Immortal Conundrum
#4-13 Fortress of the Nail
#4-16 Fabric of Reality
#5-13 Weapons in the Rift
#5-17 Fate of the Fiend
Cheers
Andrew
I am willing to play / run Core scenarios Thursday or on off slots. Will be part of the Arizona contingent.
Majuba wrote: I, or anyone else setup as staff on the event can add the game decided on. Ayep. Add what game you want and when in a post here and I'll be happy to add it to the Warhorn if Majuba doesn't get to it first.
I enjoyed playing and running these:
#5-13 Weapon in the Rift [5-9]
#5-17 Fate of the Fiend [7-11]
#5-20 The Sealed Gate [7-11]
#5-23 Cairn of Shadows [5-9]
I think I could do them justice. (Or, near-justice. ;-) I'm perfectly happy to run in either RPG or PFC (CORE) mode. Playing Sealed Gate as a PFC game would certainly put an interesting spin on it!
Since there are already two requests for Fate of the Fiend, could you please add that scenario?
(Majuba and/or Painlord, I'm also happy to help out if you'd like me to start adding scenarios to Warhorn. I'm not an admin on this particular Warhorn event.)
R D wrote: I'm not an admin on this particular Warhorn event.)[/ooc] You are now!
Thank you, sir! :-) I'll add Fate of the Fiend shortly...
Done.
Stupid question does it cost anything extra to run an event?
I ran a "third party" event last year (I'm just a guy), and I wasn't charged anything. Based on that, I would say no.
But remember: there are no stupid questions, only stupid students.
I'll be arriving Wednesday so I can probably run something Thursday.
