Price of Gloves of The Shortened Path

Hallo,

The PRD states the Gloves of The Shortened Path with:
Price 27000gp
Cost 8000gp

I see no reason why the cost would be below the common Price/2. Thus, I wonder whether the Price or the Cost is wrong.

Option 1: Change Price to 16000gp
Option 2: Change cost to 13500gp
Option 3: Intentional?

Definitely an error ... I'm not sure which way I'd do the pricing, but my initial instinct is that the Price is correct at 27k.

I agree that 27k is right, for kind of a strange reason, but one slightly more scientific than a gut feeling. Generally, when pricing magic items, you multiple something at some step by the caster level. Since the caster level is 9th, and 27/9 = 3, while 16/9 is something like 1.777, I am pretty sure the 27k is right.

I did not find that CL math pattern for several other items - not sure that proves something - thx anyways, the 27k sounds reasonable to me too.

Generally - should I FAQ this thread to get the error fixed?
