Bladebound and bladed scarf dancer, does it work?

It cannot. The black blade can only be a "a one-handed slashing weapon, a rapier, or a sword cane." The bladed scarf is listed under two handed weapons, and as such, cannot be used for this. The number of hands you can wield a weapon with does not change the type of said weapon.

Eh, it's arguable. I'd allow it. Ask your GM, unless this for PFS. Is it? If so, we can try to get some kind of ruling.

Grand Lodge

PFS: No

Rest of the world: ask the GM. I would personally allow this, but not all GMs would.

Rules as Written is very clear on this. They specifically say what a black blade can be, which is "a one-handed slashing weapon, a rapier, or a sword cane."

The bladed scarf is listed as a two handed slashing weapon. Regardless of whether or not your PC has something that allows it to treat the scarf as a one handed weapon, the weapon itself still fits into the two handed weapon category, which means it cannot be a black blade.

Whatever you want to do with home brew is fine, but the rules answer to a question posted in the rules forum is no.

This. I think /most/ GMs would, honestly, but the RAW is pretty straightforward.

hmm I'd say yes for PFS because of this line

the bladed scarf dancer can wield the scarf as a one-handed weapon which is what the bladebound requires.

It has to be a one-handed slashing weapon (or rapier or swordcane), not simply wielded as one. Although I think it's perfectly fine as a house rule. I have even combined bladebound with staff magus to create a blackstaff character.

Was your blackstaff character's name Ebenezar McCoy?

Lantern Lodge

Could your Blackblade be a whip?

The class doesn't say any weapon you wield as a one handed slashing weapon, it says a one handed slashing weapon. Its the same reason you can't use instant enemy to change an enemy type for the purpose of making it vulnerable to a bane weapon. Just because you treat something as something else doesn't actually change what it is.

Should be fine. Its one handed and deals slashing damage.
