The theme of Wayfinder 14 has been announced. It's a great way to work on your game design skills and get writing credits, regardless of whether you make the Top 32 or not.

Names you may recognize from previous Superstar competitions (among other places) such as Clinton Boomer, Neil Spicer and Mike Welham are among the contributors...

Even if you dont make Top 32, you should continue to follow the subsequent rounds. Learn from the submissions as best you can. Its not over until the last vote is cast on the last round.

EiC Tim and Paris don't discriminate; they've happily printed submissions from both regular and irregular (like me!) Paizo folk. :)

I hope this isn't quite thread-jacking, but there are a number of 3rd party publishers that also do competitions and/or have opportunities for new talent.

Likewise, you can try my route and find a tiny 3PP and see if they'll take a chance with you during an OPEN CALL (like this one).
