Incredible Reach - how to do it?

Advice

I have a wonderful build idea based upon getting as big a reach as possible. It seems, so far, that only a bloodrager can obtain this incredible reach, but I'm looking for suggestions. Th build must be viable at level 10, and so far I have planned out thus far:

Bloodrager 10
Bloodline: Black Blood or Aberrant, or crossblooded
Feats (in no particular order, and ignoring prereq's): Lunge, Combat reflexes, power attack, Whirlwind attack
Race: Undecided
Weapon: Sarissa, 1d8, triples reach instead of doubles, can only attack in cone, out of Giant Hunters Handbook
Spells: Enlarge Person, Longarm

It seems that I wouldn't be able to attack anything 30 feet in front of me, but anything beyond I could, as long as it was in that cone. I'm looking for suggestions all around, and to see if there are any better ways to get even more reach. I plan on using whirlwind attack to hit all enemies in that cone, so I would preferable would like to be able to maximize damage as well.

20 point buy.

Trade 6 levels of bloodrager for levels of a warpriest of Calistria, and take Whip Mastery and improved Whip Mastery. You now threaten everything in your insanely long reach, not just a cone, and you still get a d8 of base damage.

You could also just grab Improved Unarmed Strike also, this would allow you to attack closer enemies too.

It takes a few more levels, but I made a Druid/Stalwart Defender build that, at level 13, has a 30 foot reach just from turning into a Huge earth elemental and wielding a Huge lucerne hammer. They have Whirlwind Attack and Combat Reflexes, and they threaten their entire reach by wearing a Dwarven Boulder Helmet.

There's some disagreement about whether the Growth domain stacks with Wild Shape, but if it does that increases the reach to 40 feet.

I can post the build if you want.

Grand Lodge

Any Fighter/whatever who dips one level of Cleric for, the Plant (Growth) domain, works for this purpose. Warpriest, Druid, Inquisitor, and Paladin can all work for dip, too, since they are able to get a Cleric Domain or equivalent.

You rarely want to actually cast the spell Enlarge Person, because it takes too long. You don't enlarge until the start of your 2nd turn, which means no AoOs for you, long reach or no. A potion of enlarge person works much better, in terms of action economy. Drink the potion for your Standard Action and you are big for AoOs between your turns.

The Swift Action version of Enlarge Person is even better, since you can 5' step, enlarge & expand 5' closer, then full attack anything that began your turn within 30'. Also your size transition gives you a virtual 5' step, which is useful in itself. If you know there's an extended fight coming, and you want to stay large, just drink a potion.

With such a large threatened area you might consider a way to threaten nearby. The cheap way to do it is to wear Spiked Armor for 50 gp. Another approach, especially if your aesthetic senses are offended by Armor Spikes, is to learn the feat Improved Unarmed Strike. A third approach is to not worry about threatening adjacent, because it simply isn't very important.

Crossblooded Rager, Abyssal/Aberrant.

Take both Demonic Bulk and Abnormal Reach.

Use a Whip.

Lunge.

Get some Longarm Bracers.

Cast Long Arm.

Now congratulations, you're sitting at a static 40 foot reach you can boost to 45 3 times per day.

How do you ignore prerequsits?
I would go with aberrant and primalist. And get exotic weapon proff(fauchard) at level 1 power attack at 3, arcane strike at 5 and combat reflexes at 6, lunge at 7 and improved crit and improved initiative at 9. If you want a bit more go primalist and get unexpectet strike and reckless abandon or knockdown at level 8.
Get some featherstone step slippers and make sure you always stand in difficult terrain. Armor spikes will help threathen the close ones as well,
I would suggest going eithe half orc with tatto and fates favored trait or Versatile human to boost both dex and str from the start but it depends a little on your preferances as well.
This wont give you the highest reach ever, for that i think synestsist summoner is better as always. But it will be very effectiven and fun.

I can't ignore the prereq's I just wanted to show the core feats I had in mind with the build.

That looks good, but this runs into the problem of being overly feat dependant, because of the use of the whip. Should I take a few levels of fighter to get the whip feats?

Well, you need 8 levels of Bloodrager to pull it off, but other than that it's your choice. Fighter levels can work.
