Bad news and good news.
Reskinning is not allowed in PFS. Also, if you don't have a playtest boon, you'll have to wait for the book to come out to play a kineticist.
Now the good news: there are rumors of some actual blood kineticist type stuff in the final book, so when it comes out, if those rumors are true, you might not need to reskin!

Eh, not so much, Mark. Check your office memos. We cut that option to make room for a kitteneticist archetype capable of lobbing small, fluffy animals in order to deal the hitherto unprecedented Cute damage. I'm sure we'll start getting particularly fun mail once we spoil the ability to make barriers of baby penguins as an immediate action to reduce damage from an attack.

Dagnabbit! This never would have happened back when Owen was in charge of those archetypes.
Next you'll tell me that the medium archetypes were all scrapped for an archetype focused on the Twin that lets the medium develop PFS scenarios twice as fast. Curse you Compton!

Why am I worried one of you is going to create an ability called reskinning for one of these archetypes? It will be worse than traits that are racial, and racial traits.
Nah, that's for the flesh collector occultist, who collects the skins of creatures that represent each school of magic and wears them instead of using implements. Incidentally, if you play that archetype in 2-16, the archetype says you get a special bonus.

Don't blame him, it was Cosmo's fault.

He also has an ability called Additional Resources, which allows him to spontaneously create extra implements on the fly. That wouldn't be too handy without the Play, Play, Play ability, which grants him a small pool of points to invest in these implements even if it would break the rules to do so.

I left those out because they require a table implement of the appropriate size, shape, and composition, so in PFS, they would definitely be subject to table variation.

Oh no! Parallel development! Table Variation now refers to a feat in the Catch Off-Guard chain in an upcoming Player Companion that allows one to wield multiple tables at once and use them to deal different types of damage.
Of course, the feat is worded ambiguously and could be read in about three different ways. I predict this feat will be subject to a consider amount of…well…yeah.

Like during LAN parties, how everyone texts the guy closest to the kitchen to get the rest of them drinks.
Good idea…
Mark, go get me a drink.

Wait... This must be the reason that Paizo lost power last night... the battle of wills between John and Mark was so strong that the grid couldn't handle the surges!

We're getting their wrath in Northern California right now.
I hear it's moving farther south tonight.

At that time we were in a meeting together bouncing ideas off one another, so perhaps it is less conflict that begets terrible weather than it is collaboration.

When you put Erik Mona, Mike Brock, and the two of us in a room with nothing better to do than come up with new and exciting ways to both thrill and annihilate those pesky Pathfinders, it's the perfect storm. And that storm is coming for you all in Season 7, Pathfinders. Mwahahahahaha!

Gee Mark, joking about kineticists and PFS rules apparently causes brutal weather events. Ideas for a hydrokineticist?
Look John, it took everything I had to make sure we only got attacked by an aerokineticist, and Boston by a hydrokineticist. Have you any idea what could have happened to us here if the pyrokineticists and geokineticists got their turn?

I guess I'll have to make sure to be able to take more hits then! Or maybe tie meself to one of you fine gentlemen! BWAHAHAHA!

I'm guessing that your discussion is only the superficial cause of the weather, and that the real cause of the rain was Jason Bulmahn's tears over the terrible discussions taking place. Or were they Chris Lambertz's over the violent backlash that your ideas will receive from the message board community?
