Cure spells in Spell Storing weapons

Scarab Sages

Silly thought, put curative spells in a weapon. Spell Storing on the weapon. Would be downright useful in a whip, as it can only do non-lethal damage anyway and has a long reach.

Not sure if you could make it viable, suggestions?

Isn't a whip unable to do damage to armored characters?

A closely related approach is to cast 'Cure Serious Wounds' into Spell Storing Armor. That allows any ally to touch you (no to hit required if you are willing) and be healed. They use their action economy to draw your cure spell, not yours.

This is trickier with spell storing weapons, because it seems one must actually spend an action and do damage to trigger the spell and apply the heal. So less benefit.

I've seen this done with shuriken on someone with no strength mod.

but the gm allowed spell storing on ranged and melee weapons. I think it might not apply to ranged normally?

A whip is a pretty amusing idea. you would need the feats to damage though. at that point you might look into eldritch bloodline for the extended touch attack one

I've seen someone get a similar effect by using Weapon Wand to insert a wand of Cure Light Wounds into a whip, then use the wand at 15 ft. reach. It was really effective, and he did it at 1st level.
