No no good sir, Jafar is a sorcerer.
Not in the 3.0+ D&D sense (and it was far from clear what or how powerful he was prior to wishing to be a sorcerer - for all the tricks he displayed before then, he may have been nothing more than an artificer/alchemist).
I should also note here that I never liked most of what 3.0+ did with "sorcerers" (although I do like the Bloodlines Pathfinder introduced), most particularly the decision to make their magic Charisma-based rather than Intelligence-based. It set a bad precedent that worsened with time, and we still haven't shaken it off.

Build the classic four member party. Heroes only, this time.
Fighter: Hercules, Mulan, Prince Philip?
Rogue: Aladdin, Flynn Rider?
Cleric: Mama Odie, Blue Fairy?
Wizard: Yesnid, Elsa, Merlin?
elsa, mama odie just no. Elsa is clearly a sorcerer. Her powers are natural, not studied, and mama odie would most likely be an Oracle.

It's not the class name- it's the role.
So yes, Elsa is a sorcerer of some sort, but fills the Wizard or arcane caster role.
