Announcing Minnesota's annual convention! Come visit Minnesota in the depths of Winter! Spend Valentine's Day weekend with those you love; other Pathfinders!
The convention is held this year at the lovely Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West. Inquire about rooms today!
With over 70+ tables of PFS offered, you are sure to find a game. This year we are offering the first six levels of the Emerald Spire, the Silverhex Chronicles, Kid's Track, and this year's GenCon Special, Legacy of the Stonelords! You will also find older favorites and the latest scenarios released.
"This sounds awesome, jon! Where can I find more information?"
I'm glad you asked.
Minneapolis/St. Paul Pathfinder Society
If you are interested in GMing a table or three or have any questions, send me a PM.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Assuming that I am not chained into my cube by work (we've got a 90 million dollar peoplesoft upgrade going live this week), I will be there, and am running my share of scenarios! It is going to be a BLAST!
So looking forward to Angelo getting to finish the Bonekeep saga!
This will almost be as good as Vasectomy-Con II, the second snip! We'll be finding our way there by smelling for the Breakfast Bourbon!

It promises to be a blast... I've been going for YEARS and I always have a blast. Now, so much PFS I CANT HARDLY STAND IT.
maybe, just maybe, there will be a sighting of Luscious Lucius Vizzini the Rat(folk) Pimp. So much silk on such a small body. Even THUNDERLIPS! would be proud to adventure with this rat of influence. Why, with their combined powers of influence, the Society could reach heights never dreamed of before!

The Con of the North site has two dates listed for preregistration. One is Jan 5, the other is Jan 12. I'd say try and get your preregistrations in ASAP if you haven't done so already!

There is a tingling in my fingers.... A rumbling in my bones....
It's almost as if I should be making something. Something warm and soothing for these hoary winter nights. Something to share with my tribe, to remind ourselves why we spend Valentine's Day away from our loved ones.

Is that bacon I smell?

And a bottle of maple-bacon-bourbon love sits on my kitchen counter. The only problem will be to let it remain there, untouched, for three more weeks!
Bottles of mint and ginger syrups are in the fridge... and a bottle of Bulleit awaits being mixed with them.
Psst...
Jon,
they're gonna think we only go there to drink. Whomever they are.

Oh, THUNDERLIPS! isn't so bad, once you get to know him. He Is a Man of Influence, much like myself. We both like the finer things in life... Though we may differ on what we think in "fine".
Myself, I like to end my day relaxing with a fine glass of maple-bacon-bourbon, served by a bevy of scantily clad lasses. My ladies, as it were. Businessmen, such as myself, can truly understand the value of someone like our Ulfen friend. We're it not for him, or those like him, I fear my far too pretty face would be... Damaged... by foul ruffians and Aspis Agents. Why, just the other day, I was working on enlisting some hired help in a fine old tavern in Absalom... I believe it was called The Wounded Wisp. Not sure her twin would approve, but I'll make sure the... buxom... lass keeps quiet.
So, shall we endeavor to visit this "Con of tthe North?" Why, I believe that it would be a shame not to! What say you, my fine Ulfen friend?

FIRE MAKES THUNDERLIPS! GOOD! THUNDERLIPS!'S CHEST HAIR IS INFLAMMABLE EXCEPT FOR HOT SPICY CHELISH DISH, ZARTA. AS LONG AS SHE DOES NOT MENTION CANDLE WAX, NEITHER WILL THUNDERLIPS!
THUNDERLIPS! ALWAYS PASS THE FIRST TEST!
THUNDERLIPS!'S SMALL FRIEND MISS QUICK MAKE BETTER AGENT IN THE JUNGLE THAN THUNDDERLIPS! THUNDERLIPS! WAS BRED FOR COLDER WEATHER. WEATHER THAT A GATHERING CALLED CON OF THE NORTH ENGENDERS FROM PROUD, VIGOROUS, VIRILE, FIRM, POTENT ULFEN.
MALDRIS WILL COVER ANY INCIDENTALS THUNDERLIPS! MAY ACCRUE DURING REVELRY BEFORE DURING OR AFTER MIGHTY PATHFINDER MISSIONS.
LUCIUS! WILL THIS JON DEHNING WITH HIS FANCY TITLE BE THERE? HE HAS MADE JOKES ABOUT TUNDERNOTTER'S POTENCY. I WILL NEED TO SHOW HIM THE ERRORS OF HIS WAY.

Regarding Core campaign @ConoftheNorth:
The organizers for Pathfinder at Con of the North are going to offer Core campaign as an option with a caveat..
Due to the timing, we cannot designate any of the tables as Core campaign. BUT - if the entire table of 6 players pre-musters together for a 1-2/1-5 table, they would be welcome to play that table (and report) as Core Campaign. If there is any mixed desires, the table will default to standard campaign.

Good times!
We filled the room! Twelve tables of PFS scheduled, and twelve tables of PFS played! This includes the first slot(!) that started at 2pm Friday afternoon.
I am humble, joyful, and awestruck by the out-pouring of support from our volunteers, the players, and everyone who leant a hand, poured a beverage, or simply said "Thanks." You all are the reason we keep playing this game. Easily our best con, ever.
Thank you.

Make that 13 tables at the 2PM Friday, as I had an over-flow table that we ran in a different room! But, you are right. Totally awesome as a player and GM!

Thank you, Jon and Andy, for organizing such a great event!
Next year, maybe we can get a bigger room, and hit 20 tables!!!

It was a most excellent affair! Kudos to all the people who worked so hard to make it a success! Can't wait for next year!!
Hey, you were one of those people! You made HQ run pretty darn smoothly, and between you and a couple other folks, Jon and I only had to handle the big things.
So thanks Jolene, AJ, and Steve!
