Psychic Only Spell Components

Pathfinder Rulebook, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I noticed in the new spells section of the play test that the new spells (mind thrust, mental barrier, etc.) don't have proper spell components. Rather than the usual M, V, S, F, or DF they have T and E that aren't given an explanation for what they mean. If someone could clear this up I would thank you very much.


It's under the Psychic Magic section, page 59. T is Thought, E is Emotion.

They are Thought and Emotion components. See page 59 of the playtest document, Kaedric.


For Psychics, Thought replaces Verbal and Emotion replaces Somatic
