For a city as important as Absalom is to the campaign Setting. It is surprisingly hard to find information about it. I see that there is a very old source book that does not have the information I seek. The new PFS guide has part of the block, but is missing the settlement stats. Where can I find a city stat block that lists things like purchase limits?
Have you checked the Absalom guide? I don't have it with me at the moment, but Absalom is technically not a single city, but rather many many cities combined together. That might be why you can't find the information you're looking for. Each district has its own settlement stats.
ok...and where are those? I am looking at the guide of Absalom and it appears to be a large city divided into districts, just like Magnimar or Korvosa.

Korvosa: Base Value 12,800gp, Purchase Limit: 85,000gp (Varisia Book)
That is the info I am looking for. Where can I find that info for Absalom?

Just picked this up during the great golem sale. It was $5 then, and up to $9 now, but I was just reading through it yesterday and it is a very nice book. Full of information.

It's not actually stated in the Inner Sea Guide. However, Absalom in the largest city we know of on Golarion. It is a metropolis. It would have at least a 16,000 gp base value and a 100,000 gp purcahse limit.
For home games because of it's sheer size (300,000 people) most GMs I think allow the purchase of pretty much anything in Absalom as it is the center of trade for the entirety of the Inner Sea, Avistan, and Garund.

Absalom is statted in the Pathfinder Society Field Guide. It has a small eight-page gazetter including a full-page map, though there isn't too much detail. Cramming a city of 300,000 in eight pages is not really feasible.
Relevant stats are:
Base value 25,600 gp.
Purchase limit 170,000 gp.
Spellcasting 9th.

It is (strangely) not in the Inner Sea World Guide or The Guide to Absalom...both of which are awesome and filled with tons of information, but both lack the settlement stat block. Which our game uses to limit what is available to purchase/sell.
