Winter Witch... How was it?

I've often thought about playing a Witch and going for the full Winter Witch experience. (archetype and prestige class)

My question is: Have you done that and what was your experience like?

I have done it and had a blast. Rime spell is your friend, and you really do want to focus on the cold spells with this archetype. I also recommend the wisdom patron.

No one else in the game can freeze an ice elemental inside a block of ice.

My wife has a catfolk (houseruled bite attack possible with feat like halforcs) winter witch. 4 natural attacks with frostbite spell are fun.

She'd love to have more swift actions though ;)
