I'm trying to use close range and the lack of Ray spells for the magus defeats the purpose for haveing this arcana. This is the ray spell list as far as I know:
Disrupt Undead (Lvl 0)
Ray of Frost (Lvl 0)
Ray of Enfeeblement (Lvl 1)
Scorching Ray (Lvl 2)
Ray of Exhaustion (Lvl e)
Disintegrate (Lvl 5)
I would use spells like mud ball, snowball or reach spell the metamagic feat but the spells are not rays and the metamagic feat does not create Ray spells. Those ray spells listed do not fall into the magus strengths. They are control from 1st level on up not DPR.
If you know any ray spells not in those books listed in the question in the opening thread that are magus spells please post them and their resources they're in.
Close Range (Ex): The magus can deliver ray spells that feature a ranged touch attack as melee touch spells. He can use a ranged touch attack spell that targets more than one creature (such as scorching ray), but he makes only one melee touch attack to deliver one of these ranged touch effects; additional ranged touch attacks from that spell are wasted and have no effect. These spells can be used with the spellstrike class feature.

I thinke archieves of nethys has a keyword search so you could probaly search the spells that way..
Not sure though..
but off hand I don't know of any other rays magus has access to.. You could multiclass into other classes via braod study but multiclassing magic is always kinda hazardous. Could be pretty amusing with a divine caster (assuming broad study doesn't specify arcane)

Disrupt Undead is a ray. The Spell Blending arcana will allow you to add the wizard ray spells like Ray of Sickening, Dimensional Anchor, Enervation, and so on.
You can do an advanced search on the SRD and look for wizard and magus spells with "ray" in the text. That will also show "spray", "gray", and so on, but it will narrow down the list a lot.

Didn't know about those gloves. But what arcana does that free up? You need Close Range if you want rays, and the gloves for other ranged spells.
In either cast, you sill need a way to get the ranged spell on the Magus list.
I originally didn't see this post. Yeah, it doesn't allow for evocation spells because they all have a visual effects you can see. If the gloves didn't have that line it would allow for the conversion of any non-touch spell to a touch spell. That is the way I am reading after the "three times per day" line.

Have you checked out Deep Magic from Kobold Press?
It's a massive, 376 page full color hardcover with more than 700 spells! I'll bet you'd find loads of spells that fit what you are looking for!
