While not done by any means, the warehouse is making good progress on subscriptions.
Yay warehouse!
And congrats on breaking the chiliad barrier.

So it it weird that the ship date on subscriptions is after the street date of the products? My last few subscriptions showed up after my friends were able to buy the books in a store and not pay shipping. I am starting to wonder about the benefit of the subscriptions

More like "used to" than "usually". The last two month the local shop here in GERMANY had the products for sale before mine were even shipped or I got access to the PDFs. And this month seems to be gearing up for third in a row,

![]() |

I understand the frustration, it's particularly bad for overseas subscribers since it can take over 2 weeks after shipping to reach you. Usually meaning the stuff is available in some shops for more then a week before I get my stuff. However the price is soooo much better by subscription, the free PDFs are a great addition and the excellent customer service fixes problems without hassles. Personally I can accept the later arrival in light of the benefits. Plus don't forget this month, and I think the previous one at least, have been affected by the hectic con season and the annual sale!

Franz Lunzer |

I don't have my pdf's yet, just like Zaister and several other subscribers.
Going through my order history and shipment mails I got access to them in the last year at:
October: 17th (Monster Codex) and 20th (AP and others)
September: 26th
August: 6th (ACG) and 7th (AP and others)
July: 18th
June: 17th
May: 14th
April: 15th (ISG) and 16th (AP and others)
March: 17th
February: 12th
January: 16th
December '13: 21st
November '13: ... looks like there was no shipment?
October '13: 30th

Yeah, there wasn't a November shipment last year as stuff was running behind.
The estimated window in the top post runs until Friday, so people shouldn't be worrying until at the earliest Monday.

I think you are missing the point of my complain:
I'm not worried that I will receive the books and whatnot at some point.I'm agitated about the fact that I will once again not have at least the digital copy of the books at the time when physical copies will be in stores in Europe.
(Depending on the vendor, I would save a pretty penny/cent if I would by the books here. Shipping international is expensive, even at the cheapest rate. Sometimes customs adds to that.
Especially the core rulebooks I would get cheaper, and sooner, even adding in the $10 for the pdf.)
...
Sorry for the venting...

I get you. I live in the US and on the east coast but and still waiting for shipping to "release" my PDF's (which go on sale tomorrow), the dead trees will arrive when they will no worries but getting PDF's after the street date can be frustrating (but still a great deal and worth subscribing for)

Why are all sorts of people writing all about the November products that they obviously have already and I still don't have my pdf's let alone the books the general public gets to buy the pdf tomorrow and you all haven't bothered to get me mine yet just wondering why I seem to be forgotten.

I don't think a lot of people are saying they already have their November products, at least not in this thread. In fact, I don't see one post in this thread where someone says they have received their November products. There are subscribers talking about how the products will be on sale tomorrow in retail stores, while they won't have received their products yet, but no one seems to be saying they have already received their products (though it is possible some have).
The first post in this thread gives the shipping window. The goal is to have your November products shipped out to you by the end of the shipping window (Nov. 21). You should have already received an authorization email sometime around November 8. If you did, then you have nothing to be concerned about until the 21st. If at the end of the 21st you haven't gotten a shipping notification email and this thread hasn't been updated to explain what is going on, then you should contact customer service.
And just to reassure you, I too have gotten my authorization email on November 8, but have not yet received my shipping notification email. But there is no need to be concerned at this time. All that is normal according to the schedule.

Zaister |
Just as a perspective: I don't even have my physical October books yet.
Hawkmoon: I think is referring about people talking about the new books in their respective product threads.

As Hawkmoon says, look at the first post in this thread:
Begin Shipping Estimate: November 3rd10th
End Shipping Estimate: November 14th21st
Street Date for Paizo Products: November 19
Some people's orders shipped on the 10th, and they got access to their PDFs then; some on the 12th, ditto; some on the 13th, 14th, etc. Several of the people whose packages shipped on the 10th probably have received their physical products by now as well. This process is planned to continue until the 21st. There isn't a switch that makes everything ship out at once. If your order hasn't shipped by the 22nd, then your order may have been "forgotten."
You'll note that the original plan was for everything to be done shipping before street date. That's the ideal. Some months (particularly GenCon through the Great Golem Sale) that doesn't happen.
My order hasn't shipped yet either, so I don't have access to my PDF. Some months my package ships early and I'm one of the lucky ones who is the first to get a look at things; some months I'm one of the last to go out. There's no way to know where you'll be in the shipping queue.

Everyone,
The new street date for Paizo November Releases is now Monday, November 24th.
The retail release date of Pathfinder Battles Miniatures: Lost Coast is not affected by this on the retailer level, however due to limitations of technology on our end, they are effectively treated as part of the November Releases on paizo.com (ie they won't come off preorder until Monday even though their release date in stores has passed).

Is that why the pdf's come on the 24th and not tomorrow?

Starting to think the pathfinder miniatures subscription is a complete waste of time and money. While my order is still pending, customers of miniature market have already had theirs shipped with free shipping. After the insane $37 shipping fee from Paizo I am paying over $320 while miniature market is charging $315 for the case with free shipping. Hopefully this mess is just because of the golem sale and next time they have a golem sale they will have learned something and it won't be such a cluster. I'm gonna try to be patient and see how the next subscription release goes, but if it's as bad as this one, it might be time to buy from another site. Frustrated that while others will be gaming with these minis this week I don't even know when mine will ship. <sigh>

I'm sorry you have been so frustrated with the Battles subscription through Paizo. It's definitely one of the harder ones for us to wrangle, with lots of unexpected corner cases that come up and I am truly sorry that the experience has been less than stellar for you. I do appreciate that you've decided to stick with us for another release; every Battles release that comes out we do our best to learn what is working and what needs to change and how to improve going forward.
After the next release, if you do feel like things have not improved to your satisfaction, I would encourage you to make the choice that makes the most sense to you. While we certainly appreciate when customers make purchases directly from paizo.com, we also want you to be happy with the experience and with the product. If purchasing elsewhere makes more sense for you, then we encourage you to make the choice that will make you happiest.

Shipping is going smoothly right now. All of the batch-shipped subscription orders have left our warehouse so if you saw the "A package containing X items from Paizo Order #XXXXXX is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Friday, November 21 via..." in your shipping email your order has been shipped.
The warehouse still has a good chunk of orders they are working on as quickly as they can. I suspect shipping these will extend into next week, but have nothing concrete to post about that yet.
Edited for clarity.

Does miniature market give you the premium mini at 75% off?
I'm on the East Coast. Shipping for me, before discounts, would be $37.62, but the order includes not just the battles sub, but all the other subs for this month. 11 items total including the minis.
Shipping is supposed to end on the 24th. I would say if you don't get a shipping notice by close of business Monday, you should call or email or post here on Tuesday asking what's up.
I do see a couple of anomalies on my order. The shipping discount, up top, shows as $18.65, which would make total shipping $18.97 ($37.62 - $18.65) but down at the bottom of the page it shows as $28.97. Also, the estimated package weight appears to be 211 pounds. I don't buy that. :-)
I guess I should start another thread. Or maybe not worry about it until Monday.
Personally, I don't care if other gamers get stuff before I do. Life is too short. :-)

We still have a good chunk of orders that have not shipped yet. The warehouse is still working away on those.
Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you were saying all Subscription orders were out, but you said "Batched" subscription orders.
What is a "Batched" subscription order?

![]() |

Probably ones that have the exact same items due to being subscribed to the exact same lines, without side cart additions.
So my case sub isn't a batched order because I added things from my sidecart that need to be placed with my sub, and can't be factory-line packed like people with just case sub items.
It's a lot easier to pack and ship a bunch of identical orders, since you don't have to worry about getting the wrong label on the wrong box.

![]() |

A large portion of the subscription shipments are able to be batch shipped (ie same exact contents going the same shipping method). We build boxes and pre-pack up enough packages and print labels in big rolls and slap them on. The warehouse has people working on these packages concurrently with orders that go through with a packing list. Usually we finish shipping the batch shipped orders and regularly printed orders about the same time, this time we wrapped up the batch shipped orders a little sooner.

211 pounds is definitely not right. I moved some things around and was able to get it to be a bit more reasonable weight by moving things into 2 separate orders, which also incidentally saves you $1.35 in shipping.

Riiiight up until you notice that all the AP + Campaign Setting envelopes you just finished packing were actually supposed to be AP + Companion ;)
(That's really really rare though because we have such awesome people working in the warehouse).

My order # Order 3348958 should have been one of those batch orders as it has only the Pathfinder Battles subscription in it. There was no side cart items or any other subscription items. But I still have not received any shipping email. Can you check that for me? Also noticed that it says one case plus the incentive figure weighs 208 lbs. with $35.99 shipping.

![]() |

Not everything ends up going through the assembly lined batch printing system.
I did look into the package weight issue and the weird 200+ lb package weight hit a number of the case orders. The tech team has reached a solution that should be implemented soon (I think tomorrow?) so those remaining case orders should kick out and ship hopefully by the end of this week.

My PDFs were released today (meaning my package shipped).
They are working on it, and can of course only do so many in a day. What I have noticed is that several years ago it did not take as long to get the subscriptions out. My assumption here is that they have many more subscriptions than they did before, and of course this will continue to go up over time, and it will slow things down.
I do not really worry about when I get my stuff. I know that most months I will get a shipment and it will arrive when it arrives.
I am a very happy Subscriber.

Brell Stormforge |

I'm not upset at you Sara, it is very evident that you have been working extremely hard. It just seems that as hard as things have been with shipping due to the sale, that more help and resources should have been given to you until this smoothes out. I may be wrong, but I imagine there are some folks at Paizo that aren't nearly as busy as you and maybe they should lend a hand where possible. Anyways don't take my complaining personally, I'm just frustrated at the situation. Also my shipping says 209 pounds like the other guy. While I would LOVE to receive 209 pounds of minis, I doubt that is what I'm really getting.

Some of the folks at Paizo who may or may not be "less busy" do help out. Including the CEO. You think the CEO of Amazon would be in the warehouse helping pack boxes for shipping? I don't.

I understand the logistics, but it kind of sucks feeling like I'm being penalized by always being at the back of the processing line since I order extra copies of subscription items with no avenue to vent...

Hey DF - I've often felt the same when I superscribed + ordered extras, but as Sara said they work on them in parallel, so you could be last as a 'batch order' or first as a regular order, it's never certain.
As for "the good old days" - we've had a good 2-3 years (and a bad 2-3 months) lately, but there's been some really long fulfillment times in the past as well. Sale timing was always a big impact.
