A thread of mine got shut down because some conspiracy theorist thought a provocative article was a false flag operation. Is there a way I can contact the moderation team, even if only through intermediaries?
You can send a private message to whoever locked the thread. They should have posted on the thread and said they were locking it.

That was my first plan, but Sara Marie doesn't have a "Send Private Message" option.

That thread got locked for a very specific reason given by the moderator in the lock message. It may have been tangentially related to what you are talking about here but I would leave well enough alone. Basically, the moderation staff has politely asked you to not discuss that topic here, at all. You should accept it and move on.
