ACG magic items

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

After looking at the ACG, It seems like the VAST majority of new magic items were just panache or bloodrage support. This left me sad, since there are 8 other classes in the book. I'd love to see a Warpriest equivalent of Monk's Robe or an Archanist's version of Ring of Arcane Mastery.

What else feels left out from the ACG magic items?

I need to read over that still. Is it really that bad?

There were a few Investigator focused items, too.

Armor: Burdenless and Restful are good. Sensing is okay.

Weapons: Exhausting would be fun on a high crit weapon, although at +3 it's expensive. Inspired is what every investigator wants on his weapon. Prehensile is good for whip users. Swashbuckler's Rapier is nice for them, especially if your GM allows you to improve special weapons.

Other: Some of the summoning rings are good. The hex rods were kinda needed for hex users. The belt of superior maneuvers is a nice add-on for your physical enhancement belts if you are a maneuver specialist. Brass spiders are great for trap specialists. Headband of the wolf is nice for gaining scent. Restoration dust is a way to reset the raise dead counter. Spell lattices expand a spontaneous caster's spell lists.

There are a few others which are okay, but probably not worth the price.

Dire Collar - 1,000gp for a enlarge person on an animal companion is great at low levels.

Absolutely love the Spell Lattices! Reasonably priced, too. Bard characters (Sorcerers too) are drooling.

I don't recall the exact name of the ring, however there is one in the ACG that allows a bloodrager to cast a spell of 3rd level or lower as an Attack of Opportunity! Three times per day! That seems so very cool to me.

I was very impressed with the ACG overall, especially some of the new classes and spells, but agree that some of the magic items were a bit lackluster.

Not too many items that had a wide scope of use (i.e. lots of class specific bonuses).

Also a few SIACs and at least one that granted a class ability to a non-class user which was disappointing to see (getting my RPG Superstar head in gear so couldn't help but spot these!).

There are a number of items useable by only certain classes elsewhere, so I thought it made sense there would be those applicable only to ACG classes. I had no problem with that.
