Warpriest fervor question

Would I be wrong in saying that extra lay of hands would increase the number of times I could use fervor, or would I have to convince my dm to let me create a feat to give me extra uses of the ability.

Hi wintersrage. This is the card game forum. You want the RPG forum.

You can find the RPG Forum at this link.

Your original question was actually moved to the advice section of the RPG Forum, but it was probably old enough at that point that no one over there took notice of it. If you post in it, that will bump it back to the top so people notice it.

Good luck.

1. You're in the wrong forum, as Hawkmoon said.

2. There is no feat for more Fervor. Extra Channel gives you 4 more uses of Fervor, but only to channel with it.

3. Extra Lay on Hands does not give you extra uses of Fervor as written.

I personally think Fervor is more powerful than Lay On Hands due to its versatility (swift action Divine Favor?), and so you shouldn't get your hopes up too high on your DM allowing a custom feat for additional Fervor based on Extra Lay On Hands.

I recommend prioritizing a Wisdom headband if you really want more Fervor uses.

Sczarni

Creating a feat for more Fervor is in the hands of the GM.

Scarab Sages

Or possibly advanced class origins...

Really seems like an oversight considering that it's similar to Lay on Hands, which has a feat. It's even weaker, so arguably you'd need it more. It's one of the major hurdles I have with Warpriest, since you'd have to have pretty good wis if you wanted more uses. However, you can also cast spells on yourself with it, so it's possible they felt that was too good?

But as it stands I would have to convince my dm to allow me to create 1. Unless a piazo rep comes forward and says the missing feat is an oversight on their part.
