Oread Monk-Paladin?

Greetings folks,

I have a cool RP concept for a character (starting at lvl 13) but I am having a hard time making it work in practice. I am making an unarmed monk-paladin with an Oread. The dude is raised by dwarves and is VERY earth-focused. I even got permission from my DM to bend the archetype rules for the Stonelord and take it as an Oread. Does anyone have any advice on how to make this character effective? What sort of abilities / feats do you think would be most important for this whacky combo?

I assume you want to also grab student of stone for monk?

There's really not much to help with, everything here is only worth it for the fluff.

The only thing off the top of my head is grabbing Master of many styles and use it for pummeling style, or maybe the Elemental Fist/Shaitan style line if you want some more stone-ness (although, they are quite eeeeeh).

Stonelord doesn't combine with anything and there's not really much you can do with that one, although there was a discussion on the class somewhere that could be helpful.

May I suggest the Sacred Fist Warpriest Archetype instead? It hist most of the same notes thematically, while being a bit more coherent mechanically.

If you do want to stick with Monk/Paladin, Stonelord is an excellent choice but doesn't especially reward multiclassing, so I'd just dip a level or two of Monk and go straight Stonelord otherwise.

You might want to consider a 3rd level of Monk so you can pick up the Monastic Legacy feat - allowing some of your paladin levels to count as monk levels to increase unarmed damage (if you're dead set on unarmed strikes).

There is a prestige class called "Fist of Irori" that combines Paladin and Monk into Palamonk. There is a guide to building them. It would not work with stonelord sadly.
