Swashbuckler Flying Blade -Dex for damage?

Ok.. So i'm like 90% sure I'm missing something obvious here... which wouldn't surprise me being sick for the last week but it's annoying me enough that I figured I'd just ask.

Flying blade archetype for the swashbuckler makes it so almost everything from the swashbuckler apply to thrown dagger or starknives.
Firstly this is awesome for me.

Secondly, is there no way other than agile enchantment to get dex to damage on this? Thrown items work like this right? Dex to hit, str to damage.
As far as i know Slashing grace doesn't apply, as both those weapons are light weapons.

So is agile the only way to get dext to damage with this? or am I (hopefully) missing something painfully obvious.

From what I can find, Agile is the only way you'll be getting dexterity to damage with a dagger or starknife.

It was a last minute addition that Slashing Grace even allows you to add dexterity to damage in place of strength, so it's not surprising you can't pull it off as a flying blade. They're releasing a feat that offers the same benefits to rapiers in the next book, but no such luck for other light weapons.

Mythic weapon finesse.

Ive never played mythic,
Cool beans thanks!
Blink back, agile it is

Sadly... this is a poor example of Paizo editting...

Eh it happens, This wasn't the main dex to damage thing they were shooting for, just a last second 'almost soley meant for this one class' feat. Which doesn't really bother me when I look at it that way.

Well, sadly Agile weapon enhancement is only for melee weapons, meaning it doesn't work on thrown weapons.
Melee weapons with a range increment become ranged weapons when thrown. They are listed under melee weapons, only because they work in melee as well... so no, no agile, no nothing on dex to dmg when throwing stuff... besides mythic weapon finesse.

Actually, agile has the same wording as Mythic Weapon Finesse. It's a melee weapon enhancement, but it doesn't say that you only use Dex to damage on melee attack rolls.

Scarab Sages

Or Deadly Agility if your group allows 3PP.
