I would like to know if this was correct or not for the Techslinger archetype of the gunslinger in the technology guide.
what i call into question is the Rifle, the normal gunslinger starts out with
Techslingers still start play with the black powder blunderbuss, pistol, or rifle granted by the gunsmith class ability
blunderbuss, musket, or pistol
So does the Techslinger start out with the option to take a gun that is that much better or was that a misprint.

Yes thats also what i think, its pretty clear the intent was to say muskets.
Also theoretically speaking rapid reload doesnt apply to advanced firearms, for whatever reasons

Seems like an odd error to make. A simple copy/paste gets you "blunderbuss, musket, or pistol" not "black powder blunderbuss, pistol, or rifle". Is seems like they wanted to change something...

Maybe they wanted to change something and then they changed their minds, or maybe they didnt want to change anything and then they changed their minds.... my head hurts
