My brand new wizard got a level 3 spell last night - Fireball! Too bad I will never get a chance to use it since I doubt a spellbook of that level can be made before he gets wiped. :-(

How does one make a spellbook?

Yeah, you make spellbooks as an artificer - they require tanning and apothecary refined materials. (For the simplest of them, anyway.)
Also yes, cleave -can- run into the rep reducing issues, but only if your ally stands right in front of you while you are attacking. (Since it only effects a 60 degree area in front of you.)

Hey guys and gals! Do you realize that we are only vote member behind 7th Veil in the Leaderboard, we both have 80 members but they have one waiting approval. We have access to our future home during Alpha, so get your butts in game, check out how things work, and group up with some Kaballers and head over to where we will be calling home for a good long while. Clear out the area, check out the terrain, and piss on all the trees.
Game on is looming ever closer, and we want to hit the ground running. Check the forums for info, organization and general good times. Log in when you can and get your mumble on.
We are finalizing company info and will be posting that as well, the forums will be our central hub of activity and information, so start getting used to checking in.
We have Alpha invites coming out of our ears, so get one and get in game.

You bet we do! I made 'em! Got +1 mitten the first time I tried to make a Mitten+0.
Not sure how a +1 mitten is better than a +0 mitten since it is used as a glove utility but it is a +1 dammit! My first. We all remember our first, don't we? :-)
Santa Sunnfire will be much pleased with the mittens!

I submitted my application a few minutes ago. I've been in Alpha for two weeks now and I'm looking forward to helping build a community so close to my favorite Alpha town of Rathglen!

There's a plan to try to clear an escalation in a nearby hex this weekend, probably Saturday. Nearby meaning around Stoneroot Glade Village. Need 6-10 folks to see if we can do it. Stop by if you want to help out. Probably start no earlier than 10:30 AM Eastern and go all day. So you can play when you can and then leave while someone new joins in later.
We will be using our Mumble connection. All are welcome.

Yeah, my main, Mysticwood, is chained in Alderwag making Weak Varnish +2 and Bunibuni is trying to get there to unload all the stuff he managed to pick up down south then he will be chained to Alderwag making +1 Clerk's Ink. Hope he makes it there tonight but after hearing about all the problems everyone is having, he may wind up having lost most of what he gathered and being far far away. :-(

Despite all claims to the contrary, there is no admissable evidence that any turkey either has or has not gotten into a state where they may or may not have been flying upside down in relation to any given observer that may or may not have been observing accurately or reporting what they observed accurately.

I love that show. And it is one of my favorite episodes.
Let's all try to meet up around 1:30 PM Eastern Saturday and Sunday, after they have done their maintenance for the day, and try to take down the escalations around us. Join in when you can, drop out when you have to. We will go until we are done or bored. Meet up by the bank in Stoneroot Glade. :P
