I dont Think TWF with a magus is that common. Is this just a advice to all the TWF magi out there or was it aimed at someone in paticular?
And i Think better advice would be to not plan on going TWF with a magus or other 3/4 Bab guy.
There are good magus/monk possibillities but unless you plan on not Casting lots of spells i can't see flurry with a staff being a good plan.

This is a byproduct of learning that when you're carrying a multi-charge touch spell, it's hard to get enough attacks to expend the touches via spellstrike without casting a new one. TWF doesn't work well with it (since you need to draw a second weapon to deliver the touches) but flurry does.
I was not trying to suggest imitating regular TWF by casting arcane mark with spell combat. That's like pissing away your magus advantages.

My magus was mostly using Frostbite when he was wanting charges. I just decided that it was a good thing he had more than he needed so a melee rutine would be like
Round one use pool to boost his blade cast mirror image( or haste if i already had MI up) move in position
Round 2 activate arcane arcuracy, Spell-combat Frostbite attack/ attack/attack( and with haste attack)
Round 3 Spell-combat attack attack(and with haste attack) and cast a apropriate Spell if need be.
A level 8 magus would waste i charge from Frostbite in the above example.
Even the rounds where i ditent cast a Spell i just went with the sword in two hands, with power attack and good str that is a sizesable damage boost.
