Question about Driders, Centaurs etc

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

How do Driders and Centaurs sleep? It was a random question that popped into my head, but now its bugging me. I'm trying to figure out how they support their human halves mainly during sleep.

I guess that depends on the characters culture and cosmos and personality? I mean you could sleep standing up, in a vertical bed, or on a horizontal one and have some difficulty getting up. I always imagined driders would lean against something and curl up a bit while centaurs would prefer a horizontal lay.

Not sure if there is one true answer. Then again, I'm not an expert on horses or spiders, and my first thought is "Is this horse talking to me and does she know she's half woman?"

Given a horse can sleep on its side, I don't see why a Centaur would have an iota of extra difficulty. If it tried to sleep belly to the ground, that would doubtless hold issues.
Driders? You're talking about something made rather than a natural species; indeed, it's classed as an aberration - the spine might reticulate in bizarre ways for all that encompasses.

Horses can lie on their sides and still get up no problem (they roll on their backs to take dust baths, and can sleep on their sides). They also have necks that can bend from up in the air to pointing down at the ground. So assuming similar physiology, they could easily lie their human half on the ground.

Assuming driders don't get stuck in their own nets all the time, i would make a fancy hammock if I was a drider.
