Yesterday someone posted an inquiry about converting the Caliban Monster to a PC race. Unfortunately my search-fu is weak & I am not succeeding in finding it again.

Would someone be kind enough to find & link it for me? I made a cursory attempt using the Race Builder from the ARG & believe I have something workable, although it is 17+ RP even without the Racial Hit Dice...

I started working on a playable version...kept it simple by frankinstiening pieces I felt represented the idea well...but have no idea how to price the mutating hex :(
Caliban Racial Traits
+4 Strength, –2 Intelligence, –2 Wisdom, –2 Charisma: (1RP)
Monstous humanoid: Caliban are monstrous humanoids with the changeling subtype.
Medium: Caliban are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Caliban have a base speed of 30 feet.
Darkvision: Caliban can see in the dark up to 60 feet. (2RP)
Claws: A caliban's fingernails are hard and sharp, granting them two claw attacks (1d4 points of damage each). 2RP
Natural Armor: Caliban have a +1 natural armor bonus. 2RP
Created (Ex) For the purposes of effects targeting creatures by type (such as a ranger’s favored enemy and bane weapons), caliban count as both monstrous humanoids and constructs. Caliban gain a +4 racial bonus on all saving throws against mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, and stun effects, are not subject to fatigue or exhaustion, and are immune to disease and sleep effects. Caliban cannot be raised or resurrected. (2RP)
Keen Senses (2 RP): Caliban receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
Languages: Caliban begin play speaking Common. Caliban with high Intelligence scores can chose from the following: Aklo, Giant, Gnoll, Goblin, Orc.
It also occured to me that it could be fun to do a Changeling summoner with a Caliban eidolon :)

Calibans are in the ravenloft book. They are deformed humanoids, rumoured to be sons of witches or gypsies. They are ravenloft's equivalento to half-orcs (there are no orcs in ravenloft), they simply use the same statistics.
