Pathfinder Society Magus. Increasing Arcane Pool?

Advice

Off the top of my head:

feat:
Increased Arcane Pool
item:
Headband of Int
Ring of Arcane Mastery

Anything else out there?

Thanks!

Does PFS allow wyroot weapons? It's in the Advanced Race Guide which I think is approved but I don't play PFS so I've really only glanced at that. It doesn't exactly increase your arcane pool, but then neither does the Ring of Arcane Mastery. Near enough though.

It's a huge boost if you do at least some non-lethal damage to your opponents then coup de grace them once they're down.

Sadly...Per the Guide to Play wyroot items are not allowed.

I heard about the stuff years ago but never played a magus. Now that I'm considering one, looks like it was banned though I don't know when.

In home game though something to consider. Though even as a player I'd probably only use it 1/day per item. Otherwise it is way too cheap when compared to standard items for what you may get.

Getting Pearls of Power allows you to not use your Arcane Recall as much.
As does spell storing on your weapon. I recommend Spell storing and a few Pearls of 1st level to keep recalling your Intensified Shocking Grasp.

I know its not the same as Increasing your Arcane pool but in PFS you get into about 5 fights a session so a spell storing weapon, 2 pearls of Power 1st level, +int Headband/fox's cunning spell, and a ring of Arcane mastery will be more then enough. No need to take the feat to be honest Unless your going to avoid the 20k Ring.

I'd be fine if they provided a similar refueling mechanism for each other comparable resource type.

They were banned pretty much as soon as they showed up and tons of posts appeared on the messageboards on how to exploit them.

Won't be using AP for Spell Recall...more likely using it on boosts for accuracy. Or weapon pumping.

Already investing in POPs. 1k for 1st level recharges is golden.

So pretty much nothing (ala Pearls) out there. Dang.

Spell storing weapon is still a Great thing on a magus. Nothing like loading it up with Vampiric touch. HP spike tanking if the aggro swings your way. Plus its the equivalent to a Pearl of Power 3rd level if you load it on off adventuring day and have full list next day.

Arcane accuracy Eats your pool sadly and I think you better Aim for the Ring.
