Questions:
1) What bloodlines work well with this?
2) I haven't looked into rogue talents much, so, what would be best for a ray focused assassin?
3) What traits would support a Arcane Trickster based on rays to deliver SAs?

The above race and classes are the ones I've chosen. Please, no banter about how much rogues suck. I don't care. Let's all keep this productive.

I'd figure the elemental bloodline seems best for raybased spellcasters?

Hum.. I guess one of the damage buffers. Elemental to switch damage types or dragon to up damage. since realistically I don't think you'll get sneak damage too often until higher arcane trickster.

I haven't looked at talents atm i might later but of note is that youo wn't get many and it'll be really low ones so I odn't think there are many for you to be able to snag.

Traits wise.. There are a few that help with moving in surprise round, but google "pathfinder guide to traits" and thers a nice list

The umbral wildblood of the shadow bloodline would do wonders for you. The bonus spells are based on increasing stealth and shadow conjuration/evocation. the first abilities also buff your stealth or that of someone else's. When in darkness, your caster level is higher which is good considering you're taking three levels in a non-caster class. The shadow evocation is super flavorful and should include rays. Best of all, you're a drow so you should have natural darkvision (plus the darkness spell can help with that nasty light sensitivity.) Both of the bloodlines were made for sneaky arcane tricksters.

You're not gonna get many rogue talents due to only taking three levels in it, so taking basic ones like powerful sneak, offensive defense, fast stealth, resiliency, or combat trick is not a bad idea. Note that these are combat focused; you may also want to take a non-combat focused one seeing as the arcane trickster doesn't give you anything for that except maybe ranged legerdemain. Depends on how much RP you plan to do.

My group doesn't really do traits so I can't help you there.

Magical Knack to help your CL after all those sniper levels.

Backstabber for some extra sneak damage.

Shadow caster for casting those shadow spells if you select that bloodline
