Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail: How would you build her?

Conversions

Erza Scarlett has to be my favourite female arse kicker in anime. So much so that I'd like to run a character based on her in a game. Obvious problem is that Fairy Tail magic doesn't work anywhere near like PF magic does so I'm not expecting an exact match.

Still, it would be interesting to try. My first thought is a Magus with a custom Arcana that lets her switch out armour and weapons.

How about you guys? What would you do?

Switching out weapons is easy enough. Basically take a Glove of Storing and give it more space, so that instead of one item, it can be used to store many of them and switch between them on a whim

Armor would be done by a similar method, except with no glove. Maybe a similar magic item in the Body slot could allow for armor switching.

...The difficult bit about Erza is that she doesn't use magic items to switch her weapons and armor (which would be the easiest way of mimicking her abilities in Pathfinder), but instead uses her own magic. She's basically got her own personal extraplanar storage space; like a bag of holding, but not physically existing on the material plane, and only accessible by Erza herself.

If you want her to be able to do all the weapon/armor switching through class abilities, I'd probably agree with a Magus and some custom arcanas. If using magic items, or some weird personal extraplanar space can be used, I'd argue she's not a caster in Pathfinder terms, but a Fighter who happens to own a lot of magic equipment.

I'd try a slight refluffing of the Aegis and the Soulblade from Dreamscar's psionic stuff.

Soulblade creates psychic weapons and the Aegis creates psychic armor.

There is a Soulblade talent that lets you alter properties of your soulweapon on the fly which would allow for creating multiple different weapons and the Aegis armor is highly customizable for multiple suits of armor

Multiclass the two and spend some time writing up different combinations so that you don't bog down game time swapping things out and you are good to go.

Your welcome

Gauntlets of the Weaponmaster
Price 110,000 gp; Aura strong conjuration; CL 10th; Weight 5 lbs.
These gauntlets come in a variety of forms. Some are mostly leather with small steel plates, and are suited for fine swordplay. Others are fully articulated plate favored by knights in full plate. On command, the wearer of the gauntlet can store a single weapon he is holding in the gauntlets. When he does so, a graven image of the weapon appears on the gauntlet's plates. The wearer can store up to 10 weapons in the gauntlets in this manner. Retrieving a weapon requires the wearer to touch the image of the weapon he wants. Doing so is a swift action. When a weapon is retrieved, it appears in the hands of the wearer and any weapons the wearer had in his hands is stored in the gauntlets. If there is no room in the gauntlet for the weapons the wearer is holding, those weapons are dropped. The gauntlets can only store weapons; other items cannot be placed in the gauntlet.

Furthermore, three times per day on command, the gloves affect the wearer as the greater heroism spell.

CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS
Cost 55,000 gp
Craft Wondrous Item, heroism, rope trick

Agree. Ezra Scarlet is basically Soulknife --> Aegis --> Metaforged (a prestige class that blends the two).

Natsu is an unarmed archetype fighter, red or gold dragonblooded sorceror, Dragon disciple.

Lucy is a master summoner while Mirajane is a synthesis summoner.

Grey, not sure. Probably sorceror / unarmed fighter, eldritch knight.

Most shonen characters can usually be refluffed as some kind of psychic warrior.

Forgot the link to the prestige class:

Linkified, for your convenience.

Cool. I'll have a look at that.

I'll probably mod it to fit magic use, the game I'm in doesn't have psi.

Hmm maybe a Magus version of soulkinfe/aegis

might be good to combine some of the metafordge with telekenetic warrior for some of her moves have reminicents of that ability. though only a few
