Can we have a dragon Venture Captain?

I think this would be cool...

How about a dragon Venture Captain? think about it. PFS is always gathering achient treasures and locking them away somewhere in a vault, so that they can be "studied".

WOW... maybe one (or more) of the 10 is actually a Dragon!

Now that is one VC that PCs would pay attention to....

Dark Archive

Maybe one of the Venture Captains is already a dragon.
One or more of The Ten are very likely to be some sort of horrible monster.

Major Decemvirate identity spoiler:
Five of them are really the different heads of Tiamat

My VC Character regularly uses extended form of the dragon for combat, so its kind of like the opposite of dragons who hide in human form.

Hiram McDaniels for VC!
"I'm a five-headed dragon! So what?"

It's funny you bring this up. I recently ran

Spoiler:
Words of the Ancients
at a Con and the party talked up the Pathfinder Society to a dragon, trying to convince him he should join.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the decemvirate are all dragons disguised as humans.

Spoiler:
Or veiled masters disguised as dragons disguised as humans.

I'm a dragon and I'm gonna take adventure captin class soon so I'll be a dragon adventure captin and you can work for me and it'll be fun.

I usually have a metallic dragon as a "quest giver" in my homebrews. It just makes a lot of sense.

Well, it's possible to have a dragon as a future faction head, if I read <redacted> correctly.

Grand Lodge 5/5

It wouldn't be a stretch if it turned out that the Decemvirate was a family of dragons. Or even 1 dragon masquerading as different masked people.

I really have to run this <redacted> scenario. Everyone always talks about all these awesome things found in <redacted>. Aparently it's the only scenario that you can both play and fight, because some people talk about fighting <redacted> in <redacted>.

Oh my dear <redacted>, one of these days I shall find you!

nosig, as Matthew said, you may get your wish sooner than you expected. :)

No,I'd rather not see something like this, but considering how much it's been done to death by Blizzard at least three times, TSR and WoTC more times than I'd rather count.

I actually kind of finding it refreshing that the one dragon ruler of a human society is actually open about it for a change.

Besides we "know" they're all Veiled Masters anyway. :)

Yeah, I just have the PCs stop by the dragon's cave. If there's no real reason to hide, I don't have them hide.

This makes me want to set up a custom world where Dragons act as the only fonts that magic can use to enter the world. They realize this, and have openly ruled the planet for a few thousand years.

"Because really, there's no point in hiding. We're the only source of magic on this rock. Without us, all the magical races would die. That would just leave the humans, and what are they going to do? Build a world without magic?! Pfft!"

That sounds a lot like Shadowrun, actually.

"Never, ever, make a deal with a Dragon." Dragons are rare enough in Shadowrun that the word is always used with a capital D. Whether you're talking about the beast or the helicopter.
